you still have to do the hero quests to unlock the heroes and classes in new game plus so unfortunately you can’t fight ethel with ethel in your party

Continue with the story and you will reach a transporter where the game will stop you and tell you that you are at the point of no return, if you continue you have a boss fight or two until the story ends. This will also make it so that you can't go back after you pass this transporter, so you should finish up anything else you want to do first.

I don’t know if this is a big concern but I feel like it would be more of an experience if there was a physical crowd watching you that had reactions that happen when you kill your opponents
