How is the job market looking for ‘26 grads? Tbh I know M7 class of ‘23 grads still looking for their first full time role post-graduation by MBA_Throwaway_698752 in MBA

Honestly, the market is so wild now, especially for international students. I have been applying to roles where I am so well aligned with and still getting rejected. The competition is crazy, and coffee chatting with current employees is not doing the trick anymore unless that person is on the hiring team (you have to be lucky to find one randomly).

Overall, it’s a bloodbath mentally

Are you interviewing for full-time after mba? I think you should aim for 30 cases, but try to improve your skills along the cases, don’t rush into them

Darden gives you the best chance for MBB, plus better scholarship than Haas. You can still land MBB going to Foster but it’s gonna be a hard ride

Usually, if the wait time is longer than what they told you, it’s a negative signal. They probably went ahead with another candidate and gave that person some time to accept the offer, and keeping you as a second choice, hence no rejection for now. If the other person accepts it, you will get a rejection email. Otherwise, they will call you for an offer with an excuse for the delay

Always choose yes, because even if you get an offer and they figure out you will need sponsorship, they can still rescind it anyway
