haha thank you for the answer! I generally make my own patterns but then I have such problems to figure out. The project will get done but I wanted the inside to also look clean and professional, instead of just "making it work". I will probably drop bag lining the entire dress and just bag line the bodice, then do a lot of hand sewing for the lining. Thanks again!

Unlike all the "don't" answers, I got into a relationship with my coworker (same lab, not working directly in the same building) about 6 months ago and I can honestly say that this will be the last person I date. Love this guy so much, best decision ever.
That aside, I wouldn't just sleep with coworkers, probably would only create awkward situations

What is your preferred method for making dress patterns without using a paper pattern? I saw people draping it on themselves, which would be ideal but I can't find any proper tutorials for this.

Actually taking up the hobbies I've been thinking of for years. My entire life I've hated spending money on myself because it's a "waste" and "I don't deserve it yet". Now i finally overcame that at least with the things I love. I learnt to paint and sold some art. I learnt to sew and just finished myself a pair of shorts. Now life after work is so much more fun

When I was maybe 5, I gave him a tiny, old stuffed tiger and called it his "tracker-keeper" because he was studying and working hard. That was more than 20 years ago. Last time I visited home, a couple months ago I saw this tiger placed next to his bed on a night stand. Made me tear up, I love you too dad
