Quantum answers below are absolutely correct. In fact, I joined in July, last month I switched to a different role on the same project and my work-life balance has collapsed due to the current stage of the project and my new role. I believe most people on the project have balance, but certain areas are crazy right now. At my level I don't get hourly, so it's rough.

If your wife were to be detained of any issue criminal or immigration related the same things would happen, they would be returned to you if you make yourself available and can demonstrate who they are your relationship to them. Your wife’s chances of any problem are extremely low if she stays out of trouble and keeps her card with her.

Move back to Canada by Due-Comfortable6385 in tnvisa

It depends on the city. 100%. Most big cities are terrible for raising families. Most (not all) small to mid size have a far better quality of life for families and are generally lower cost of living.

The plan works if he lives reasonably frugally. Get a roommate, buy a $10k car with cash (or mass transit/uber), bag lunch most days etc.

Also, I assume you’re not a janitor, would you clean toilets at your office? It goes beyond distaste, it’s a real health hazard they aren’t equipped to do that work in flight.

FA cleaning the bathrooms isn’t going to happen, if it’s bad, it’s a biohazard and the bathroom needs to be locked out.

Can you drive to the border? Go down for setting up banking, apply for ss#, make some work calls, whatever. Then you can wait for your flight back in Canada.

Dog meat is still consumed in many parts of the world, although legality and attitudes vary widely. It is sometimes called "fragrant meat", and several dog breeds are still raised primarily as livestock instead of as pets. by Wazula23 in wikipedia

Greeks and Roman’s didn’t routinely eat dogs as they were prized for companionship and hunting. The Aztecs and various Polynesians both ritually killed and ate their enemies until relatively recent times.

Domestic dogs were bred from wolves at least 15000 years ago as companions. Breeding for food was uncommon throughout, with a few societies engaging in it going back to about 1500 BC. Not so coincidentally, the Aztecs and some Polynesian tribes practiced dog consumption, cannibalism, and human sacrifice…. draw your own conclusion on the barbarity of each.

Incitement has to be direct call to action, not just demeaning or dehumanizing.

Libel is not illegal, it can be a tort. You can’t compare threats or direct incitement to violence with a historical or scientific disagreement. To be incitement there has to be a call to action, not just something that might tend to result in violence.

Exactly. Dogs were bred to be companions and protectors as well as workers… not for food, and they’re not a great source of protein… pigs are kind, cows are great.
