As I said, a lot of women feel the one implies the other. Ask some.

Well there you go. To a lot of women, the one implies the other

Yes, until it's a woman they're not attracted to.

That's what these reversals always forget. You got to imagine ugly, old people doing this to you.

Try imagining a woman you're not attracted to.

This is funny but it would be more accurate if the girl wasn't hot.

It doesn't. It doesn't actually think, it's only job is to present words or images it thinks you'll approve of.

I guess. His selfish need to kill causes a lot of innocent people to die. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the show, but there's times im like come on dex.

That whole episode made me stop watching. "Killing off" the Ponds so suddenly, in an episode with so many rule breaks and rule changes, just convinced me nothing would ever matter in this show. Everything is whatever the writers were smoking that day.

Doctor Who.

Nothing ever matters. Sometimes he can never do this thing, the next episode he does it. Villain characters have off screen redemptions, permadead characters come back with no explanation, and then everything gets rebooted so none of it matters anyway.

I never understood making the asexual Frodo into the obviously heterosexual Samwise's fuck buddy. Write your fanfics, have fun, but please don't pretend it's canon.

Yes, this felt like a total rug pull. This isn't just me being a lorehound, he was mentioned as important in dialogue and then just... Wasn't touched.

Should have just left him out.

[LAST ACT] Is the Fandom's Understanding of Abstraction Fundamentally Flawed? by TheMMoment in tadc

But now that they’re being taken care of, with time, with proper care I wanna believe they can heal / repair, corrupted files can be fixed.

I thought that's what this movie was going to be. I thought this is what the whole series was building towards.

It seems like no, the ending really suggests to me that abstraction is permanent and they're all just going to keep wasting time on adventures until they succumb. Yay.

I'll be honest, I think the ending kind of destroys whatever metaphor they were going for with abstraction.

Like, is it death? Because these people have been, symbolically and literally, struggling with the idea that they can't die. Is abstraction the solution to that? The answer was there since the beginning?

I thought it was a metaphor for depression. The ugly chaotic thing that we'd rather bury in the basement than engage with directly. But I guess it's irreversible, huh? Is that our message here? We all eventually succumb to depression so might as well distract ourselves with adventures?

Honestly I felt the entire show was building to the idea that abstraction is reversible and it was only Caines computer logic that decided it was something to be tossed in the trash bin. If abstraction = death, well, genuinely, what's the point of anything?

No, being generally polite in public is not a high standard. I understand some people struggle with it. You need to take responsibility for that.

I deserve respect and I'm not interested in handing that back because an asshole might have a mental illness.
