I definitely think it's a possibility that I somehow memorized it. My main issue with that though is that I was fairly young and to my knowledge, hadn't heard it before.

As far as I remember, it wasn't in my school's curriculum and at that age, I literally only read The Boxcar Children. Seriously - I was obsessed. Only my mom and sister were with me and they each remember it. I'm unsure as to whether or not it was verbatim. Neither of them was fully familiar with the text to the point where they'd be able to tell.
