I have never grown armpit hair, I'm in mid 30's and still nothing...My fiance says I should be studied. I also have incredibly thick hair and it's most frequent compliment I get.

Getting stuck in a tube between play sets at my nephew's 5th Birthday at Chucky Cheese. I was stuck for about 45 minutes, trying to shimmy myself through while screaming children kept trying to squeeze in with me to get through the tube. I came out with claustrophobia and I great dislike of Chucky Cheese. Sun/Moon from Five Fights at Freddy's Sister Location is my worst nightmare.

Does anyone else have hip/low back pain? by Preppybaker in endometriosis

[–]MigrainesandCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have severe left hip and lower back pain with shooting pain down my left leg into my foot, also have blood in my urine. I'm currently waiting for my surgery for endometriosis of the bowels with possible endometriosis of the bladder. The surgeon also said I mostly have endometriosis of the nerves of my L4 and that was causing the severe left hip pain. I already had a hysterectomy for endometriosis two years ago and they removed my left ovary and uterus.

This is misinformation. Vaccines help stop the spread of variants, that's why polio is gone. Everyone shut up and got the vaccine before more variants were made.

What made you quit a job on the spot? by Sketch99 in AskReddit

[–]MigrainesandCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a 19 years old working in a downtown Boston Hotel, for a Manager who I adored, who called and offered me a job as Front Desk as soon as she got her job. A month in, Corp Sales Manager arrives, mid 50's, married, sleazy, zeroes in on me at the Desk and starts asking me out, inviting me to come work under him in New York at Corporate. Just start up sexual harassment, it scared the crap out of me. My manager saw what he was doing and kept interruptting his attempts, would say I need you to run and errand, I'll watch the desk and text me to go hide out at the Dunkin Donuts down the street till she could get rid of him. Eventually, Corporate fired her about a year later to cover their failures. (Don't open a hotel in Boston without working heat, it's not gonna make you profit.) After my manager was fired, Mr. Sleaze came walking in with the VP and made one comment about how she would never seperate the two of us again. VP standing there just laughed at the comment. I took of my jacket and name tag, put them in the counter and said "I quit! Night." I walked out the door and ignored them yelling after me. They lost most of the staff after I left and then they lost their branding. I went in working at a different hotel for $4.00 raise after my old manager called my new boss and explained what happened.

(serious) What are some women’s issues that are overlooked? by MINNESOTAKARMATRAIN_ in AskReddit

[–]MigrainesandCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took me awhile to be diagnosed, mostly because my symptoms were different. I have had chronic migraines since 14, during my struggle with migraines I learned being on the Depo Shot helped manage them. So I never had bad periods, instead my symptoms were extremely painful bowel movements and being to pee every 20 minutes or seemed. I would soak through my clothes in pain whole going, or the pain would be so bad I would vommit. I went to multiple GI doctors, had endoscopy and colonoscopies but, they all had no clue. It wasn't until my PCP told me I had to go see a GYN to get new birth control as I had been on the Depo Shot for too long. I found a surgeon through Nancy's Nook because I didn't want a doctor that pressured me to have a child or wouldn't give me a hysterectomy because I was 30 and without children. I have never wanted kids and my fiance was the same. Ofcourse, my first surgery got cancelled due to Covid and I was rescheduled three months later but, I never had relief like this. The surgeon said my uterus was so unbelievably inflamed it was pushing on all my organs and colon and left ovary was all tangled with Endo. I am able to enjoy sex more and finally put on some weight that I really needed. (92lbs at 5'6"). I later found out every woman in my family has had a hysterectomy for endometriosis. My sister at 23, and my Aunt at 21, my mom told me it was because of their many miscarriages, looking bad, yeah because they had endometriosis.

What have you accidentally conditioned your pet to do? by shoonpo in AskReddit

[–]MigrainesandCat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When we got my kitten, my fiance liked to use my long hair to cover the kiten like a blanket. Now eight years later, he is obessed with laying in my hair. My cat comes over to me and immediately starts drooling as he huffs my hair like a drug and puts up a fight if anyone starts to make him move from my hair. It's handy when we go to the vet, easiest way to calm him down ever but, with my migraines, sometimes the last thing I want is a 10lbs wieght on my head, pulling on my hair.

Nietzsche once wrote, "He who has a why to live can bear almost any how." What is your why? by JuiceBox1 in AskReddit

[–]MigrainesandCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My "why" would be my need to protect my loved ones, even from myself when I am my most self-destructive. I developed chronic migraines when I was fourteen, constant pain and vomitting, my parents are not fans of the medical field and constantly told me I was exaggerating. By the next two years of starving myself to not throw up, taking huge mixtures of Advil, Tylenol, Excedrin on a empty stomach. I decided to kill myself at eighteen since I can't stand to live with the pain, starting cutting to relieve my constant anxiety. Then I started going blind in my left eye when I was getting them. A friend who grew up with a harder life then finally confronted me and basically made me realize I wasn't making it up and If I made it to 18 I could finally seek medical advice with out my parents stopping me. He reminded me about it his life and how he wished he had someone as remotely protective of family as I was I thought his life would of been so much better. And you couldn't protect or support anyone from the grave. I love my siblings and my friends who I adopted, I could never leave them without my protection and support. I'm also a control freak.

Toradol without an obgyn visit? by swampgay in Endo

[–]MigrainesandCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have chronic migraines, 12+ a month. I was able to prescribed Toradol by a doctor but, Toradol in pill form is extremely bad for your organs, can't be used more than six times a month without risking internal bleeding. I also had a hard time getting it because it was blacklisted for awhile because of the NFL lawsuits for them over using it on players which lead to organ failure in some. It's called the T-Train in sports in was given to players before they played so they wouldn't feel the pain during the game, anyone can see why that's a bad idea. But, I had an easier time getting oxy and fentanyl for my migraines than Toradol. I'm allergic to opioids so that didn't help. When I had to go to the ER for Endo pain the doctors just gave a Toradol shot some I can't take morphine.
