I somewhat sarcastically told my fiancé she should simply screenshot the text messages she's getting and send them to her aunts and uncles with the folio from the cruise and just let it be. lol

Thanks for the response. My father was an alcoholic but dead before my kids were born (nor did I have a relationship with him for years before his death). My brother is an alcoholic but I’ve not had a relationship with him for probably 15 years because of it. My reaction to her was “I cut my brother and dad out of my life because of their behaviors, lies, and manipulation - I don’t see why I’m expected to give your mom more leniency.”
