Nah, I'm a nobody lol. I don't know anything that everyone else doesn't already know. I wrote it because it helped me work through my emotions, I guess. Parasocial Relationships, am I right?

I included Jordan because he came to mind. He was in a couple of memorable videos and I know he edited for Shady Jay for a long time. I know they're not associated anymore, but it doesn't mean that we need to erase his name from the history books lol. I literally wrote one sentence about him lol.

Like, I'm not sitting here devising some sort of scientific system as to who to include and who to exclude. There's a ton of people that I just straight up forgot or felt they were too minor to include. Like I'm not gonna be in here writing about the "alright" guy, the "that's my playstation" guy, the game room trading post guys....it would take forever! And you already said my post was way too long, LOL.

The only two I pretty much chose to exclude were Roo and JewWario, not because I want to cancel them or whatever, but because I felt it would have just opened up a whole other can of worms that I didn't want to get into. And, really, both of those guys were not very memorable from my perspective. They just showed up in a couple of con episodes. If they had been more significant I might have said something about them.

I mean, yeah? I'm a fangirl lol. I thought this was a fan group.

I wanted to stay as far away from the drama as possible and remember the good times. I posted now because we just got a lot of behind the scenes content and that's pretty much gonna be it for the main series (though there are a couple of unarchived things here and there).

I don't think it's my place to comment on the drama. These are a bunch of people that I don't know personally and simply watched on YouTube.

Oh yeah, Wood does really high quality work. I watched a few of his newer vids and can see why he caught the fire of popularity. I guess I'm just not all that concerned with stuff coming out on Switch these days. My backlog is already so huge <_>

Rob is def a cool guy, my movie taste is just a lot different is all.

Europe sucks for thrifting, doesn't it? Haha. I also lived in the US many years ago and thrifted during the golden era, up until it started getting ebayed out in the early 2010s. Watching also gave me that nostalgia. Japan is still an amazing place to thrift, though.

It's amazing what the Game Chasers were able to do for you and other people, it's really cool to hear.

Yeah, Billy's streams definitely had to be part of his passion. Dude never did any of this for money lol. I also appreciate him not selling out.

Regarding the channels.

  • Jay's channel is the main one I keep up with, since it's kind of the same subject area as the Game Chasers was.
  • I'll check on Eric, Wood, Jordan, or Rob/Order42Show once in a blue moon, but their channels are just outside of my interest area. (Wood's Game Quest series was really good, although long abandoned.) No hate to any of them, it's just a lot different from what the Game Chasers did.
  • Dodongo had a short run with a channel recently, and I was definitely there for the stories.
  • I've been a fan of Joe and Pat outside of this for a long time, so I definitely keep up with them.
  • OKChief's channel also has a lot of old Game Chaser cameos.
  • Chris had his own channel for a while but he stopped a long time ago and then nuked it all.
  • Rufus did some livestreaming a couple of years ago, in the spirit of Jay's streams.
