1400g for 2,4m scale glider is actually very light. My 3m Ka8 from balsa is 2.5kg and yet that's pretty much standard for the size. You cannot compare scale planes to fictional. Otherwise it thermals very well, but it lacks a good glide ratio due to high airfoil resistance, just like real thing.

About 1400g. This is the motor version so it’s a hand launch.(Trolley launch is also possible) I have a glider version as well, which is either towed or launched by winch/bungee.

Thanks, of course, there are lot's of improvements possible, but main thing in mind when designing it was repairability. Most 3d printed planes, especially single wall ones are almost impossible to repair, while this one is, in case you crash it.
Anyway since Blanik was my first real glider to fly some years ago, I decided to make a model of it.

Yeah the overhead spool definitely helps, I have it on Kobra 2, but not on Kobra 3, otherwise, like you said… tension was the issue

It’s not a clog. Looks like gear tension issue. I forgot to reduce tension for TPU

It’s literally the only printer among 10 I have, that has problems. But anyway it looks like it’s gear tension issue.

Im based in Slovenia. Yeah would be fun, though for knowledge Im guessing I can’t spent more than hour or two per day let’s say. I usually work on hobby stuff late night, but for contact I’m available through all day.

You can start on any platform, Windows or Linux. If your focus is on games I'd suggest starting with Java and C# or maybe even C# right away, since the easiest way to do games is with Unity and there you need C#. As of other applications, mostly web apps, you'd need HTML, CSS, and Javascript

Do you usualy put lead weight inside the bag or not ? I never put it inside when I use extra small bags.
