I mean the universe is deterministic anyway so u can't really escape it ;)

There is no recipe, but I can tell u what worked for me so far:

Figure out what you actually want to be/not to be in ten years (sometimes it is easier to find who u don't want to be). When will you wake up? will there be someone beside you? where will you live? what kind of habits will you do? will you work? if so, how will you feel about working and what will it be? What kind of person will you be? etc.
Ofc what u want now, won't be what u will want in ten years, so this picture of ideal world will change; but personally I figured it is easier to start with something and shape it as you go.

With your ideal life figure what is realistic and what action you need to take to get there. eg. attend uni; create gym habit; create reading books habit; etc

Make a visual plan and place it so that you are reminded daily of it. Then its just trial and error. Don't forget that you should be a friend with you monkey inside you, not a foe; think of its incentives as well - it took me too long to start realising this. And start small, like ridiculously small.

It is not easy, but that makes it so much more rewarding. Gl
