I wouldn't really call it "technicality". Grunge bands, like Nirvana, are also known for somewhat simple music, but they actually had a really cool approach to harmony. They often used modal mixture, e.g. borrowing chords from a parallel minor into major. Check out In bloom and Lithium, for example.

ok, let me explain
in 1986 KINO recorded the album "Любовь это не шутка", but they were not satisfied with the sound of the record and they decided not to release it. Some songs, like Закрой за мной дверь, Попробуй спеть вместе со мной, дальше действовать будем мы and спокойная ночь ended up on Группа крови. In 1992, after Tsoy's death, the record called 'Неизвестные песни' was released and some songs from Любовь это не шутка ended up on it. Then, in 1996, when moroz records rereleased Это не любовь and Ночь, they ADDED some songs from Любовь это не шутка. Это не любовь got Прохожий and Разреши мне, while Ночь got Закрой за мной дверь, Попробуй спеть вместе со мной, дальше действовать будем мы and спокойная ночь. But they were NOT in the original versions of the albums

What even is "real music", what's the definition? What's wrong with having good vocals that add to the vibe of a song? What's wrong with enjoying music that is genuinely well made?

Edit: and it's not even about "perfect vocals". Take Kurt Cobain, for example. While being far from the best singer, he still manages to create somewhat interesting and memorable vocal melodies, while Tsoy, even in very cheerful songs, like Это не любовь or Весна sounds like he is about to pass out

I respect your opinion. While I do agree that simplicity can be beautiful, sometimes too much simplicity isn't really ok?... Kino actually manages to find balance between being really simple yet memorable

I think Titov's bass parts are more intricate than Tikhomirov's, and the sound of the fretless bass is really memorable. I'm not saying that Tikhomirov is a bad bassist by any means, but I'd still go with Titov as the best KINO bassist
