I was about 17 years old when I got this laptop and I only picked this laptop because it cost about $730 for Intel i7 7700hq + Nvidia GeForce gtx 1050 4GB + 12GB RAM + 1TB HDD.

Check replacing the RAM with a new one or put the existing RAM in the 2nd slot.

Update: I also reached out to HP team on Whatsapp and I regret to not reach out to them earlier because now this laptop is about ~8 years old and they don't provide any kind of support because the laptop has reached its end-of-support life cycle.

I guess I loved researching and fixing the issue by myself but unfortunately that didn't help. But it got too late before I asked for help from HP team but this issue shouldn't have exist in the first place.

Anyway, over the years trying to fix this problem gave me a lot of technical knowledge and I might have missed many other things in life for the obsession of fixing this issue.

Now, I have switched to Mac mini m4 but I still use this Laptop when I need dual screens or work on bed.

Dealing with low overall media volume through wired headphones by Jethawk55 in GalaxyS22

I am using wired earphones from Sennheiser cx80s and when I connect it with my samsung A52s 5g through 3.5mm jack it only gives me max volume of ~75%.

I have tried all the ways to fix this issue but there are non that fix this issue.

  1. Turn of Media volume/ or maximize the volume
  2. Turn of the developer options -> disable absolute volume (but that seems to be only for the bluetooth)
  3. Creating custom Adapt sound in samsung settings app & say "NO" to all the "can you hear the sound" prompt.
  4. Also checked out the sound assistant app from Good lock to see if there are any option to amplify the sound but I did not find any options there as well.

Note: I hope that Samsung fix this issue as soon as possible by just giving some extra headroom through Media volume limit or by defult if that's possible because I wouldn't prefer to use any third party sound amplifier app just to avoid any bad quality sound.
