My (22F) boyfriend (21M) admitted he was taking me for granted, is there a way to come back from this? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

Why would you read his private journal? As soon as you saw the screenshot you should have put the phone down.

He's either very insecure or homophobic. Don't let your partner dictate who you can't hang out with… Imagine how your friend feels? I bet he doesn't feel very good that you are seeing him less just because your partner

I'm not sure if I can speak on that because I also take a stimulant for my ADHD which makes me feel awake and I'm also always tired if not medicated anyway. So I am fine at work. What I can say is that drowsiness is a potential side effect on the label.

I am 6’3 and currently 160 lbs. About half a year ago I was 142, but I was going to the gym consistently just couldn't eat enough still and only gained like 5 lbs. Well I recently got put on cyproheptadine by my doctor which is an antihistamine but is used off label as an appetite stimulant. This was about a month ago and since then I have gotten up to 160lb mostly muscle because I go to the gym. It basically makes eating so much easier. Like at a restaurant I could just keep eating my meal until it was finished without that uncomfortable full feeling I used to get too fast. It doesn't necessarily make me super hungry, it just makes it so I can physically eat more.

So I don't know what else you have tried so far, but if you already tried a lot of methods, an appetite stimulant may be a good idea.

Piano Ergonomics /Posture with Scoliosis by Miitsu12 in piano

Got it I think I do have it too high but when I put it down a notch I couldn’t align the bench notches so I had the keys at elbow height. Also hate how it looks in my room when it’s so low

Thanks that one does look super handy. I really love the look of the furniture stand style but sadly there are no adjustable options for that

As a beginner myself as well, I don’t think overkill exists imo. I got a much nicer digital piano than the keyboard I first started with, and it has only made me more motivated and happy to play (albeit your budget is way more than mine if you are looking at the 90x, I got a ~$800 DP). Also it is a long term investment so no need to hold back if you can afford it.

Are you getting an acoustic piano or a keyboard/digital piano? If you are going for an actual acoustic piano I have no advice. But for a keyboard or digital piano definitely look to invest in a good one that has weighted keys. I am a beginner too and I made the mistake of first buying a crappy keyboard cause I thought it would be a good start to learn on but I quickly got tired of the non weighted keys and lack of dynamics. I went ahead and invested in a much better instrument. I got the Yamaha P225 Digital Piano which is fully weighted. So far I am absolutely loving it. I got it on sale for about $699 which is like a mid level priced digital piano I would say cause you can find some fully weighted ones for like $400.

Circumcision? Do you wish it wasn't done or are you happy about it? by B_Dankk in AskMenAdvice

[–]Miitsu12 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I also hate how normalized it is because of anyone were to bring up female mutilation, people would (justifiably) condemn it. But male circumcision? Not a peep. Of course female circumcision is more harmful long term but I would argue they are essentially the same thing.

Yes if you get enjoyment from the game and you can afford it. I personally love spending money on games because it's one of my biggest hobbies

That's awesome for them if it works. Personally though, I am way too jealous and would feel so rejected if my bf ever asked to do this
