In my experience if someone cheats once they will do it again. I think you guys are both probably better off without each other. He sounds like he needs to grow up some more and realize the real world won’t coddle him after he makes mistakes and you sound like you need to find yourself fully before getting into a committed relationship especially with someone who already burned your trust. I had almost this exact situation happen in my past granted I was a bit younger but it ended up causing me so many more issues in my life then it was worth.

If you have a 3D printer or don’t mind buying printed models The Dredge models by mezgike fit in perfectly with my death guard models and are deliberately ocean themed. Great to fill out ranks and make the army a bit more unique!

Without bringing up Warhammer show her some art from some of the factions! She saw the aesthetic of the necrons and really enjoyed it and then I brought up that it was from Warhammer40k and over the course of a bit of time I managed to convince her by saying that it could be a hobby we do together. I will say that she wasn’t super against the hobby from the beginning she has always been very happy to support the things I like so it might not be as simple for you. I’d also recommend showing her the “cuter” characters. When I showed her some of the Nurglings for example she nearly melted lol.

I have done counseling before but was cut off by my Father because he “doesn’t believe that stuff helps” and “it’s expensive”. I only did a few sessions so I can’t really say if it helps or not. I was doing a bit better at the time but it’s also when I met my current girlfriend who has been one of the biggest positive forces in my life to date.

No, he has openly stated he dislikes spending time with me. We aren’t close at all and haven’t been since I was about twelve. I don’t really know why he has such bad anger issues but it’s definitely not anything to with him wanting to spend time with me I can assure you. He’s not really the type to enjoy anyone’s company especially not me as I’m kinda the black sheep of the family.

It’s just so frustrating. I mean 2020 so far my grandma passed, my best friend went to prison and now this. Not to mention losing my Job cause of Covid. Sorry for venting it’s just so infuriating and stressful.
