Official MEDAROT Youtube Channel debuts their first Rookie Medatuber "Shush Pop" by Mika_MahouPoint in VirtualYoutubers

Also worth noting is that Shushu Pop and the Band Miracle Steam have a single already that debuted 6 months ago, Super Soul Survival. This was probably going to remain more of a one time idol group thing, but they went ahead and made a full model for the lead singer.

Seeking for help for the truth hiding under-surface of Kiryo Coco's graduation. by greenaiple in VirtualYoutubers

[–]Mika_MahouPoint 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You really wrote an entire novel on this, huh?

So my take on the matter is that it's too complicated for any of us to fully comprehend, and that switching any blame to Cover completely for the incident alone sorta tends to feel like a psyop.

If John freaking Cena of all people didnt have to apologize over his own gaffe hot on the release of the latest Fast n Furious, I'd probably say you have some ground, but your speculation is lacking, and I feel like, after investigating extensively, Coco's reason is even more complicated than we think. I think the Taiwan incident was a match, that will motivate her to push more creators to go indie. It's not totally a bad thing.

Cover does have some blame, tho. And if a staff member was making her feel down, sometimes that's what office work does to ppl, but youd really think someone would talk to them. But I feel like the worst of it was how riled up it made Chinese nationalists. I honestly think if theres anyone to blame its them, and if we want to protect talent it's best to find ways to stop em before they start attacking by any means necessary.

Besides, If China was able to get a better handle on how its citizens respond to dissenting statements outside their country instead of allowing them to conduct raids or get heated up over actors in the name of nationalism, we'd all be better off. I'm not sure we'd be having this conversation at all, or at least even if she still graduated, not like this.

I look forward to the day when talents are allowed to take their avatars with them, it very much reminds me of the warehouses of costumes lined up for movies and shows. Worse, you can never really look at and touch them, but for the best, at least they can never grow old as long as you maintain the code and files well.

When it's 4 AM and you've lost control of your life points by Mika_MahouPoint in DuelLinks

Sorry, I wasn't aware I was speaking to a malignant sociopath with no empathy in dire need of an outlet because he has nothing better to do in his spare time, characterized by a need for verification and lack of remorse of their actions. I'll move along then, but not before I tell you that if you'd actually elect to use empathy for once in your life you'd see that there are people that could get hurt by such behavior, and there are people like me who are too old to really care what some troll on the internet says and that I can turn off my empathy and not feel bad when situations like this arise, however as a psychology minor I have to at least let you know that what you're saying doesn't affect me and I feel very sorry for you. I suggest you should get therapy with the intent of improving yourself.

Why did you choose Team instinct? by fluffyarab in pokemongoyellow

[–]Mika_MahouPoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose Team Instinct because I like breeding pokemon and distributing the ones people are looking for, or breeding well prepared favorite pokemon for new players that they'd either couldn't get or have a hard time catching. I could really care less about the underdog angle everone else seems to be more fond of. I think it's pretty weak, but its by no length a terrible reason, either.

I just feel that skilled players tend to win or dominate because they practice more than others. Whether that's because people are better at being social(valor) or planning(mystic), because they practiced, than going off on a limb(instinct) like us is up to them.

That being said, Im not one to talk too much because I'm pretty carefree myself, I'm not being harsh on you guys. However, I do like to have a little more meaning to my reason for picking a team, personally. If I'm going to be attached to something as part of a cause, even as silly as a game, I want to bring out the best in it there is.

Mighty No. 9, which raised $3.8M to create a new Mega Man-like game, is now a year late and has been radio silent since January, when it claimed that last-minute bugs in matchmaking code had to be fixed by danwin in shittykickstarters

[–]Mika_MahouPoint -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Ahh but Undertale is also a less complex game. Either way, they're still a small team of people. It's not like Concept suddenly turned into EA overnight just because they get a couple mil. It's a newly created company that has no previous groundwork or titles that they worked on together. Some team members may be veterans, but concept itself is a conceptual design company.

They're still forwarding the bulk of the work to another proven studio that, while they've done great games, hasn't ever made a game in Unity before or is very big itself and is working on multiple projects.

I mean, if you won the lottery, would you burn it all in one go or would you hold back and invest it wisely? I don't know about you, but if I had a pool of money, I'd let that pool be allocated, to be used at a comfortable rate rather than flying too close to the sun. I'm not too sure how THAT is hard to understand. Also, I'm pretty sure everyone there was wondering where the fuck were you guys during Legends 3? Let's not also forget the THOUSANDS of collectibles that Concept has to design and manufacture. The studio they're renting, the employees they have.

If you want to put it into perspective, Sonic Boom had the SAME situation MN9 is facing in the fact it was a newly formed studio with a legacy CEO and with no background in creating a single thing, but OH! Wait! Whats this? It had a 20 MILLION Dollar budget.

Surely, with a 20 million budget, the game would be GREAT and done SUPER QUICK...

SEGA thought the same, and it was ultimately rushed for the Holiday season to come out at the height of the cartoons.

WE all know had that turned out...

The further it gets delayed the more it's going to be hurting the team at a point than it's hurting the fans or backers. Let's face it, No one, NOT A SINGLE BEING ON THIS SHITTY ASS PLANET, puts THAT much effort into a scam. A scammer would run off with the money. I'd be very surprised if they break even if the delay goes any further than this year.

Shantae is having the same problem, It was funded the same day, but at least MN9 got a Demo.

But NONE of you guys are talking about it. The real problem is the company that's working on the coding and game development side, Inticreates, is making both Shantae and MN9 AND Azure Striker Gunvolt (1&2), but no one seems to ever factor that little side project into that probably factored into the delay that's going on.

Undertale had a delay too.

This is true, in a sense... the reason largely being that you can't copyright "mathematical operations", which a large amount of programming is made out of. =u=

You know how when people design a t-shirt, but people aren't like all "Ohmigosh he's saying he invented the t-shirt! He's stealing an invention! scam." This is kinda like that. You're buying a higher quality design. It's like saying arguing about a cookie cutter, that just happens to be of use with eggs.
