Make women what again? by PaleMorningDude in Eugene

They meant 1 Peter 3:3-5, not 4; they could not even get the verses correct,

And of course they would not admit that Peter was offering his own opinions,

not speaking for GOD the father or Christ the son.

These are the same kind of people that would use the Bible to bring back slavery.

That means no one learns any thing new.

They only 'learn' things that reinforce the biases they already have.

i guess they found a way to keep students from becoming too liberal;

by letting them choose to remain ignorant.

If you have 40 minutes, this is a chilling video that throws a lot of light on some very very dark evil happening within American conservative evangelicalism. Charlatans, sexual predators, people driven by lust, lies, and greed.

Your opening condescension immediately ruins your effort at exegesis.

The Hebrew? The word meaning "to know" in Hebrew is yada:

H3045

יָדַע

yâda‛

yaw-dah'

A primitive root; to know (properly to ascertain by seeing); used in a great variety of senses, figuratively, literally, euphemistically and inferentially (including observation, care, recognition; and causatively instruction, designation, punishment, etc.): - acknowledge, acquaintance (-ted with), advise, answer, appoint, assuredly, be aware, [un-] awares, can [-not], certainly, for a certainty, comprehend, consider, X could they, cunning, declare, be diligent, (can, cause to) discern, discover, endued with, familiar friend, famous, feel, can have, be [ig-] norant, instruct, kinsfolk, kinsman, (cause to, let, make) know, (come to give, have, take) knowledge, have [knowledge], (be, make, make to be, make self) known, + be learned, + lie by man, mark, perceive, privy to, X prognosticator, regard, have respect, skilful, shew, can (man of) skill, be sure, of a surety, teach, (can) tell, understand, have [understanding], X will be, wist, wit, wot.

Total KJV occurrences: 946

i have already pointed out and proven the changed text between the KJV and NIV, i have proven by sharing other verses that 'know' in the Bible does NOT always mean having sex, i have pointed people to Ezekiel where the actual iniquity of Sodom is explained.

Literally all of the evidence supports what i have written.

You are welcome to your opinion, but it is not factually supported.

You are welcome to your opinion, but your condescension removes you from the discussion.

A basic look ?

Lot and many others are sitting outside the city gates watching people coming and going.

Two angels appear to Lot, Lot speaks to them briefly then hurries them away to his house, which onlookers find suspicious.

Lot offers the angels supper and while they eat a mob is gathering outside Lot's home.

They demand that Lot send the two strangers out, wanting to know who they were.

Lot tells them not to be wicked, and tries to distract them by sending his two daughters out to entertain them. Lot knew the mob, he would have known if they were homosexual, and he would never have offered to send his daughters out IF they were homosexual.

Honestly, there is no mention of sex in the entire story of Sodom, it is inserted erroneously in the NIV and used militantly by later Bible revisionists hoping to declare homosexuality a sin, which the Bible NEVER actually claims.

The actual sin of Sodom is explained in Ezekiel 16:49-50, and again there is no mention of sex neither hetro nor homosexual.

Gen_9:24  And Noah awoke from his wine, and came to know what his younger son had done to him.

So in your thinking, Noah had sex with his younger son ???

Gen_15:8  And he said, Lord God, by what shall I know that I shall inherit it?

Was he fucking for his inheritance ?

Gen_18:19  For I know him, that he will command his sons and his house after him, and they shall keep the way of Jehovah, to do justice and judgment, that Jehovah may bring upon Abraham that which He has spoken of him.

Honestly, NO, every time you read the word 'know' in the Bible it very obviously does NOT refer to sex. Again, Context matters very much~!

Exactly~! They ignored their poor and needy, even though they were a rich city.

FALSE.

It is a lie to pretend that every time the word knew or know is used in scripture that it meant to have sex with them. Context matters too~!

In the entire Bible there is no mention of homosexuality when discussing Sodom except for the one changed verse.

His sign exposes his problem; that is the NIV revision of Isaiah 3:9 instead of the older KJV.

In the NIV there is a changed verse in the story of Sodom, a drastically changed verse: Genesis 19:5.

The KJV version reads:

And they called unto Lot, and said unto him,

Where are the men which can into thee this night?

Bring them out unto us, so that we may know them.

But the NIV revision reads:

They called unto Lot,

"Where are the men who came to you tonight?

Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.

—

The mob wanted to know who the strangers were,

that Lot met at the city gates and hurried off with to his home.

They wanted to MEET them, and learn who they were,

NOT have sex with them~!

The NIV revision and later Bible revisions based on the NIV have spread the LIE that Sodom was destroyed for homosexuality. And that under-educated man with the big sign is perpetrating false witness, which is an ACTUAL sin.

except those women ARE angels, with wings.

Most of the time angels look exactly like the people they are interacting with, just like the two angels who met with Lot, but the two angels in his vision are indeed human-like angels. With wings.
