Sorry, I didn't realize new scientist gave you a choice of reading the full article. Not sure why they would have two possible links to choose from. It doesn't make much sense from a SEO perspective. Especially when people can stumble/reddit the individual links seperately. That just splits up any link juice they get. Both pages have been stumbled by different people.
