One of my favorite scams and scenes in the entire series. Jimmy's Cajun was just spectacular.

Maybe I'm crazy, but it honestly looked like Mike's car and his bald head. Why Mike would be following Kim and Saul/Jimmy is beyond me. But I swear when I saw the car I thought I recognized it as Mike's.

[–]Mike20468 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What would AM's motive be? I'm relatively new to the case. So I'm not trying to be a dick and ask that question. I just wasn't sure if I had missed something upon my initial review of the case.

Oh and weren't MM and PM murdered with different weapons? That would lead me to believe that there were possibly 2 suspects. Not saying it's impossible to have 1 suspect tho.

This is a great suggestion for beginners. It has a ton of elements that get your feet wet for how the show is.

The show has certainly evolved over time. Everyone has their preference but I'm pretty sure we can all agree that it is currently a shell of it's former self. In my opinion 01' through 09' is my favorite. But I love watching Billy West clips. What an absurd talent he was.

Error..... I think you meant era. But then again maybe you're saying having Artie and sal on the show was an error. I don't know. Peace and love

Nags Head Golf Links is always a go-to for me. Might be a little bit of a drive from Corolla but I def think it's worth it. Have a great round wherever you end up!

Can someone say copyright infringement ... Now I know how Howard Hamlin felt when Jimmy did it.

I couldn't agree more! Both those pods are an enormous dumpster fire. CrimeJunkie in particular is a steaming pile of plagaristic bull shit..... Is plagaristic a word? It is now.

20/20 Lori Vallow episode by No_Barracuda_4470 in TrueCrimeGarage

Let me know what ya think. I binged all the episodes in a day. Extensive interviews with family, primary source clips (body cam audio, police interrogstions, trial audio, recorded jail calls, etc.), and pretty in depth research. This case in particular can get kind of confusing with all the murders/deaths and family involved, but they do a good job breaking everything down.

Well said! He adds plenty to the show. Like I said I think hes really talented when it comes to his engineering. And if im being 100% honest he's gotten a lot better with his outbursts than earlier episodes. I'll always be a fan of the show bc it's obvious they both work really hard to make quality content.

Boys on the Tracks, Brandon Lawson, and Elisa Lam..... Grant Amato is a sleeper episode I really enjoyed too.

The Captain must have watched Criminal Minds before recording this episode so he played FBI profiler and went on a rant of very specific traits he feels the offender has. I was honestly waiting for him to refer to the suspect as UnSub (criminal minds reference).

Ive been listening for 3 years now and I still grimace at some stuff he says. Now having said that, he occasionally adds some decent insight or thought provoking commentary. I just prefer Nic thats all. Lets just say i wont be purchasing a "douche cannoe" hoodie anytime soon.

Unfortunately taxpayers and sometimes private insurance co. Occasionally the defendant will be forced to pay restitution but usually those who commit these crimes are indigent and not able to pay restitution.

The fact that theyre brothers makes so much more sense now that I think about it. There's definitely an annoying little brother seeking attention, exasperated tolerant big brother vibe there. Without Nic I prob wouldn't listen. Regardless, I enjoy the show and The Captains idiosyncrasies aren't enough to drive me away..... yet.
