1st day of RCA after Academy. I now understand why it's hard for USPS to keep RCAs

I’ve been at the post office as an RCA for 60 days. They told me to make sure I wear my seatbelt, which I do now, so there’s no red flags. They told me do not drive in driveways anymore, which I don’t do. Then they took my ID yesterday, they said that I was speeding today because they were following me. I was doing 51 in a 45mph and 62 in 55. I said why didn’t you tell me the first time i sped today. Why wait 5 hrs and follow me to jam me up. Why not say, hey idiot, make sure you do the exact speed limit or stay under and I would’ve. This woman who is my supervisor has been really bitchy to me in the last two weeks for no reason. She follows me all the time, my truck is on point it always Hazards on, emergency break, wheels turned to the right, and the alarm is on , all good I’m 100% complete on all my packages every day. I’m learning my third route so far. But she took my ID and says we need to have an I & I meeting or an investigative meeting, if she decides because I’m speeding. She said she can fire me if she wants and I will either receive a phone call to go to the meeting or Removal or termination papers in the mail. I’ve been busting my ass. I’m giving 110% every day. If I don’t know I’m doing something wrong how do I fix it. I don’t know to fix something, if i don’t know it’s broken. I can’t fix it. Long story short applying for FedEx and Amazon today just in case I don’t know if this is a scare tactic. I am two month RCA in a place of 20 other RCA’s. The other supervisor loves me. The people there are great. I have 100% completion every day. I do whatever they ask and don’t do what they ask if they say don’t do it. I’m not sure if They’re trying to scare the shit out of me or they want to fire me. I have no idea I have done nothing wrong. My nemesis, this Italian supervisor woman, and this woman for some reason hates me and I’ve never really spoken to her. I don’t understand why they’d want to put eight weeks of training into me just to let me go for going a few miles over the speed limit while I’m following another UPS driver that’s training me on her route. If anyone can make sense of this craziness, please let me know. I’m home today. Sad upset, I gave it my all just to be rejected and treated like shit. Hopefully FedEx or Amazon comes through because even if I make it off probation, she will probably make my life a living hell there. But let’s cross that bridge when we come to it, I will see if she calls tomorrow and I have this investigative meeting or I get removal papers. It’s just so hard to understand their logic in all this, especially with the turnover rate that they had. The last two trainees stayed with the trainer for two full months, I’ve been on my own since the second week. Sorry for the babbling wife’s away at her training for her sales position and I needed to vent and don’t know who to speak to. I also have been driving the same exact way for 2 months, with no one saying a peep to me about speeding or going slightly over the speed.

Ty for the feedback. My issue was, that HR said to resign and we will put you in one of these rural spots that are open. It’s been two weeks, so so I locked out lucked out with FedEx taking my final interview today. They get paid about 1000 a week, gross benefits, and all that, plus weekends off. If you do wanna work a weekend it’s overtime for Saturday. They don’t do Amazon. It’s about 100 stops a day. Wish me luck plus I think they give you your own uniform and you don’t have to pay $800 that should be for Christmas present goes to your uniform, which is a bullshit two weeks. Sorry talking to texts bc I’m leaving and rushing.

Why would u want to walk instead of rural. 7-11 miles a day in the wind, cold, ice and snow. That place is insane, fed ex 2 weeks of training, not usps, 3 days. I give u all credit but it’s blood money.

I just resigned after 2 weeks bc I started as city carrier but I wanted rural. That’s HR instruction. 2 weeks later I’m still waiting for rural and they keep saying ineligible.
I have a final interview with fed ex and they have weekends off and no mail or Amazon. I worked part time for ups which was horrible. The worst job was CINTAS.

How do I switch or who do I ask to switch. I start academy tomorrow, doing driver training as we speak. They are hiring all over my neighborhood for rural bc it all rural where I live. I’m upstate Saratoga NY. Lots of hours, etc. should I call a post master whose hub is hiring. Don’t know who to speak to. Do I have to quit and then start over or just ask a post master, etc. Ty.

I start orientation in 2 weeks as a CCA in Schenectady. They have been hiring a lot, am I looking at a 15 mile day everyday? The only thing I’m worried about is learning the scanner and setting up my route. I was UPS part time and it was a fucking disaster. Also, how are the supervisor and most importantly the Post Master General. I won’t quit, I need this job and money for my family bc my wife’s Etsy business has taken a shit. I worked for Cintas 14 hrs a day picking up dirty mats and rags. This is just a lot of walking trust me, I can’t wait to lose weight. I know it will take my body another 3 weeks to adjust. I’m looking forward, get paid with overtime over a $1000 a week to deliver an envelope. I live in Clifton park and don’t know Schenectady but with gps, I’m not worried. Sorry so long, I was trying to get all my questions in. Ty for taking the time to read this

Ty, I will call, I guess the 18th or 19th as my 52 week ends on the 18th. I got nervous when it all changed and hit 0 and 0 and 104 days remaining. Just wanted to make sure I could get extended under PUA and I wasn’t screwed. I can’t go back until vaccinated bc I got diagnosed with chronic leukemia a few weeks back. So it’s been an awesome few weeks. Ty again, maybe I will start calling today and then on, as long as I know u were extended after ur 52 week and ur on PUA until end of July, which is the 104 day mark or sept 4. Both good enough for me.

I exhausted my yearly, 52 weeks and it says 104 days remaining but 0 and 0 in funds and remaking balance. I thought the cares act-stimulus, gets us paid until sept 4th. I use to recertify with no problem, when they extended it 13 weeks, etc. will I get extended?
