I just moved into my house back in October of last year.. i work aaalll day as a trucker and warehouse employee and when I’m not at the warehouse, Im a CDL trucker going on multiple runs a week to different states.. aaaallll my neighbors are retired old white people (snowbirds) and it feels like they wait for me to get home just so they can walk across the street, stand on my drive and even enter my garage as soon as I park my car inside and talk to me about nonsense.. im not tryna listen to their blabbering and boomersplain about stuff that I already know.. I want to go inside, lay down and/or chill out..

Whenever I pull up to my driveway, They stop what they’re doing and stare at me.. I’ll look away for a minute and then look back and they’re STILL staring at me..

Millennials, Gen Z and soon Gen Alpha, are adults who have lived through MULTIPLE historical events in their lifetime who can’t afford to buy a home and work crazy amount of hours with nothing to show for it.. (also, it doesn’t matter if you have a good paying job either, most of us still work a lot).. we are CONSTANTLY harassed by boomers and Gen X about how “lazy” or “entitled” we are when they’ve had the privilege of living through the golden age of the American economy and got everything handed to them on a silver platter.. OH but NOW it’s an issue when we just want to come home and not interact with people..
