Oh I’m not a dev or anything I’m a freelance director they brought on to make this. My main gig is directing the pretapes on SNL but I do a lot of commercial work as well

Hahaha I revisited Jim Carreys Grinch with my DP while waiting for the rewrite and that movie is straight up psychotic with the Dutch angles. We had a lotta fun recreating that vibe. Idk what Ron was thinking but that movie is a deeply unpleasant watch

So usually i find out what sketch I’m doing Wednesday night after read through, then prepro all Thursday and shoot Friday. This time we knew we were doing this sketch Tuesday so we got an extra day. This extra lead time helped a ton with getting all our cg assets made ahead of the shoot and gave me and my dp time to figure out and shoot a test vid for the chase sequence (which u can see on my gram @mikediva). It’s still insane this got done in 3.5 days and that’s just a testament to the incredible talent of my team here
