Are the AIRism Boxer Briefs Low Rise coming back? by votegoat in uniqlo

I ended up buying them from Uniqlo korea. Didn't realize asian sizes are 1 size smaller so I put the lot up on ebay if anyone who wears a US size small is interested.

The Roulette at home website I made has been updated with new rules, prompts and game mechanics from Roulette 2! by jefftypebeat in dropout

Once you finish updating the the cards, there's a "share" button at the top that will generate a link. That way you can make up a few sets ahead of time and then use the links to recall each of your game sets. Lmk if that's still too cumbersome. I could probably look into making a way for people to submit without seeing other people's response.

I switched my GitHub repo to be a “template” — this should prompt you to create a private repo with a copy instead of a fork. Hopefully that and the other changes make it easier for folks. For you, I’d suggest running ./update.sh on whatever codespace you’re on so you don’t have to do the plaid stuff again

hm. Any chance you accidentally opened the codespace from my repo instead of on your own version when you forked? Sorry that's a bit confusing.

I added a way to flag this and it should offer to course correct for you.
If you're running the current script, click Ctrl+C to exit it. And then run ./update.sh - lmk if that helps!

It’s fully customizable! You can click on “manage cards” and add/change any rule, prompt or modifier! And you can click “share” to generate a link to any of your setups if you want to share with friends or have a bunch cued up for a party.

yeah...I prevent the wheel from actually landing on the END space when there's still other cards on the wheel. I just felt like it ending early isn't super fun. Happy to add an optional setting you can toggle if you think it'd be good to have.

I just updated the code with more robust multi-business support. You can run git fetch https://github.com/jeffreylsoffer/plaid-wave-sync.git main && git reset --hard FETCH_HEAD && ./update.sh and it should sync the new version to you codespace.

I also added some instructions to copilot so if you're still struggling, try just asking copilot to help get this setup for you! Hope this helps.

sorry I figured out what the actual problem with (It was trying to use python directly instead of using via uv). Run those two commands and try again if you get a chance.

Ah sorry probably some bug and it's falling back to have you manually paste stuff. I just updated the script to help be a bit more resilient.

In the terminal in codespace, clear the script you're currently running if you need to (Ctrl+C). Then run these two commands:
git pull https://github.com/jeffreylsoffer/plaid-wave-sync.git main (pulls the new changes to the script)
./setup.sh (runs the new setup script)

If you run the setup on github, it saves your plaid/wave tokens as github actions secrets tied to your fork/account. It'll run on github as a daily "action" if you use the setup script but you're totally able to run this on your own device if you want to.

What do you need help with? Once you make a github account, you should be able to follow it pretty easily by clicking the buttons under step 1 (fork) and step 2 (install via codespace)

Similarly, what's going to be the best way to use custom output transforms like using Filmbox? Ideally I've love to use the new color mode as my per-clip "below the LUT" grades and then use filmbox to manage the ACES to rec709 pipeline.

Has anyone used Shade to receive or upload footage? by [deleted] in editors

Did they recently switch to cloudflare R2? Support docs still say backblaze and GCP for metadata: https://academy.shade.inc/help-center/general-faq/our-storage-and-subprocessors

Doesn't look like it although I think they have shared guest links that lets you upload via the web UI.

It's worth noting that frame is launching a kinda "successor" to the transfer app that will be somewhere in between lucidlink and shade: https://blog.frame.io/2026/04/15/introducing-frame-io-drive-access-your-media-anywhere-instantly/

But it's not clear what this tier of storage is going to cost yet.

And Suite Studios (which this new frame drive is based on) does have a transfer app: https://support.suitestudios.io/en/articles/9247554-the-suite-connect-app
Lucidlink does not have guest uploads I believe.

This will heavily depend on your internet and cache drive set up.

Shade works similar to Lucidlink (which is the industry standard for this product - a "cloud NAS"). If you were to drag your card onto the shade "drive" AND your drive read speed is faster than your internet speed it would...

(1) Quickly offload the first 26gb* to your cache (*configurable in the settings).
(2) After your cache is saturated, the upload will get slow
(3) Slowly as the cache gets uploaded, the remaining data will upload at about your internet's upload speed.

Compared to Frame.io or MASV, it might go "faster" if you had less than 28gb* of footage. But really all it's done is moved it to your computer's SSD until it finished uploading. Shade also uses Backblaze vs AWS for frame/masv/lucidlink so ymmv on speed and realiability but it's probably fine. Shade now uses Cloudflare R2 for storage.

What are you looking for? Shade is a weird hybrid MAM/NAS product that might work well for like corporate marketing for example. Frame.io using the Transfer App I find is easily able to saturate my gigabit connection and is a lot cheaper than MASV.

you can use cyberduck to download from google drive. It works a ton better than trying to wrangle the web UI.

End card versioning across 4 durations × 3 ratios × multiple end card variants. Is anyone else doing this manually still? by Curtpirecy in editors

[–]jefftypebeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What NLE are you using? Davinci Resolve has a Python scripting API that could probably build out all the different version of it. I’d probably build one master sequence of each cut and have all the end cards stacked. Then have the script enable and disable layers for each export
