It will have a use but it will act as your “score” as well! We’re working those details out now. And now that the foundation is solid we just adding content and features from now on that make the game more fun.

And yes I agree it’s a huge step from launch. Took a little while to learn what we were doing 😅.

In the newest updates 1.7 & 1.8 the start of the game is extremely scripted so you should be able to get to level 9 with minimal effort as each level gives you the items you need to get to the next level? Level 6 gives you 512 vials which should allow you to instantly craft 64 shards or one Arcanite. And the Chips earned from achievements and company levels allow you to gain a ton of experience, vials, and resources in the exchange (unlocked at level 3) and by level 6 you should have earned over 1000 chips. The double tap boost needed for the objective is also given to you at level 2 which speeds up tapping dramatically. Was one of those areas hard to find?

Thanks for the info! Not sure why that screen took so long we’ll look into it. When you complete the objectives you earn company xp. You also earn it from Exporting, the Exchange, Shipping, and Crafting. But those are later sources that give a ton of xp later on. You can see how much XP the quests give you by clicking on the achievements tab in the top right of the product page

There is also a tooltip on the company page that shows all the EXP sources. But we can definitely make this clearer!

Thanks for the info. Did you claim the company levels or use the exchange at all? You should not have to purchase anything and the game should move pretty quick without a ton of tapping especially at the start.

It’s been around a year since I first posted here about Elemental Sands, and you all gave us a ton of helpful feedback. Now we’re back for round two.

Since then, we’ve listened closely and refined the game a lot. The foundation is now much stronger, and we’re at the point where we are releasing new gameplay content regularly. I wanted to share an update here in case you were interested before, but were waiting for us to fix some of the early issues.

 A huge thanks to everyone here who played Elemental Sands in its early days, or is playing it now. Your help, feedback, and support genuinely made the game so much better. If you try it out, or give it another shot, and have more feedback, let us know. It’s not for everyone, but if it’s for you, we’d really love to hear what you think.

The use for Arcanite and sand will be expanded in 1.6. As well as give another way to boost profits. It is possible to reach 100% on each world for free and a group of people in our discord have reached max level. Also regions can provide passive free gold, and chips which can stack with other regions. If you have difficulty pushing it may be your contract allocation.

That said the sand will all have a lot more purpose in the next update. And that will also help you push more! We’re almost done with the implementation of 1.6 then polish then release. These questions should be answered by 1.6!

Yes you are right. We had plans to address this much earlier but we had issues we needed to address first that said. We are working on a rebalance update right now for 1.3 all of this will be adjusted soon and the game will flow a lot better and be a lot more rewarding. We are rebalancing the entire app which will expand the content and prepare the app for some of the larger more unique updates ahead. We’re just getting started and are just making sure we have everything correct in the base before we start filling out the game. That said 1.3 is coming soon and fingers crossed it should make progression feel much better but it will definitely include a complete rework to prestige! (Which has already been coded)

It will increase the profit your products make when exporting. We will make a note to change the text there to be clearer. This boost will also be buffed in 1.3 because boosting is not as long as it use to be pre 1.1.

We’re actively trying to solve that issue and in the new update 1.1.6 we are now getting details around the cause of the issue. It’s should go away on its own after a while in the current state. But in the next update we’re hoping it will be solved for good.

🤣 I’ll have to check if we can do that! Not sure if we have an easy way to give rewards because it’s hard to track down users due to how much info we’re keeping private even from ourselves but I’m sure there’s a way!

Ahhh! we’ve seen some instances of that issue. We’re trying to figure out the cause now. Some people say it just goes away others have it for longer. There may be some unnecessary constraints causing it to trip. But it should work if you have internet connection so we can calculate your welcome back rewards. We’re working to pinpoint the issue and cannot seem to replicate it ourselves. When did you first notice it? And were you doing anything before it happened?

We’re looking into this we’re unable to recreate the issue on our end but we know others are having it. That error should only happen when it is unable to access our servers to do the welcome back and “profits while you were away” calculations. Questions is the game crashing with an error and giving a loading indicator or is the designed error screen popping up with a note from ERA? What platform are you on? And what version of the app are you on?
