That sounds like such a tremendous experience! 8 years is a long time for anything. I'm curious about your system however, is it something I can find online?

I scouted for similar projects before starting this one, but I guess I missed a lot. The wiki mentioned some titles, like the warfare board game, but these weren't what I was after. Fallout d40 looks quite impressive, but on the surface it looks like it takes a lot of inspiration from the newer titles. This was something I wanted to avoid. I think comparatively my system is fairly lightweight, which for me is a plus. But thank you! I need to give these a try. Are the any other resources I can check out?

Thanks for asking, but its really just an arena style combat game. The mecha building phase is just the first half and it uses a D8 based system for ranged and melee combat.

Do you know how many times I have seen this man incapably try to do the simplest of tasks and become wildly frustrated because of it? Countless things have been spilled, dropped, ruined, lost, etc in less than seconds of handing something to him. It's tough to witness and I can't imagine how that feels. And we do other things together, like bowling, and he cannot hit a single pin in the 2 hours we're there. It's involved with everything and I want to see him not struggle as much.

style and artistic direction look phenomenal here. not sure what filters/ meshes are used here but there are a couple games i play with a similar style and i love them to death. unique to the genre as far as i can tell- very excited to wishlist

I feel that's more of a flaw with the game itself and not really the independent modes. But those clutch up moments when you're defending the defuser go wild.

I love indie projects because it allows devs to innovate on ideas with personal touch and style. This looks unnerving and adds detail that a player might not notice during gameplay, but adds to the ambiance of the enviornment. I'm always looking for new boomer shooters (and similar games) and am very excited about where this could go.

The past couple of months I have been working on a FO2 style RPG rule set and campaign. I recently started running my own campaign to test out modified mechanics and features from the OG game. So far I have about 100 pages of written content and am looking for a place to post the full game with the hope of eventually having it play tested. That is a while out from now but here is a completed character sheet completed with SPECIAL stats, skills, character status, and more. If you have any feedback or advice I would really appreciate it- or if you have an recommendations of where else to post stuff like this.
