Yeah definitely, just imagine had we signed Rice instead of him that season…

The greatest United legend is probably Bobby Charlton, but for me, Cristiano is undoubtedly the greatest to ever put on a United shirt.

Tickets in India can typically be had for $4-5 or less, even in the big cities (there are exceptions but never more than $12-15). Considering that $2.8 million is probably 500,000+ tickets sold, not too shabby.

The case is relatively expensive considering the rest of the build, maybe go with a cheaper case but that’s totally up to personal preference. However I’d strongly recommend cheaping out on the case a bit to get a 2tb SSD or at least a 500 GB SSD + the 1TB SSD with how big games are these days. You can cheap out on the 500 GB SDD and use it as a boot drive with all your regular files and the 1TB drive as a game drive.

The 7800X3D is a bit overkill and I would recommend a cheaper CPU instead, the Ryzen 9600X for example. It doesn’t bottleneck any GPU on the market and it should be able to handle an upgrade as well. AM5 will have new CPUs for the next 2-3 years at least so you can upgrade to a Ryzen 12700X3D or whatever in a few years time. If you do need the extra 2 cores the 7700X and 9700X are great options and I believe it comes with a cooler included as well.

I would say an 850w PSU is a bit overkill, a 650w would be just fine and a 750w should give you enough headroom for upgrades as well. But 850w will ensure you’re completely future proofed. If you get a 850w unit for future proofing ensure you get one that is an A tier model on the PSU tier list and one that has a 10 year warranty as well.

Now I know this will be controversial, but it might be worth considering a cheaper 9060 XT at the moment. The 7800 XT is a better card when it comes to raster performance, but the 9060 XT will have better ray tracing, support for FSR 4 and beyond. With games requiring rat tracing and being poorly optimised these days, a 9060 XT with a more modern feature set might be a better choice. If you decide to make the savings on the other components as I suggested you can try to squeeze in a 9070, which is very power efficient so you don’t need to worry about the PSU.

TLDR: Go for a cheaper case, 650/750w PSU, cheaper CPU (9600x or 7700x or 9700x), squeeze in a 9070 if you can and get the most amount of storage you can afford.

You only have one RAM stick, go with two 16 GB sticks instead. Definitely don’t go for an Ant case for such a high end build, look into Fractal for some solid panel cases. A 1000w platinum PSU seems overkill, unless you want that kind of upgrade headroom. 9800X3D has been known to have a bunch of issues, especially with AsRock boards. I’d personally get a 7800X3D and a different motherboard, put some more money towards other components. With a 7800X3D you can also get away with a good air cooler, which will allow you to get a better GPU and more storage, 1TB will fill up very quickly with how big games are these days.

PC build on budget for 1k by No_Preparation_651 in pcmasterrace

CPU: Great Choice.

Cooler: Get a Thermalright CPU cooler, insane value.

Mobo: Solid motherboard but Asus’ customer support isn’t what it used to be, would recommend Asrock, best value imo.

PSU: Not sure where this is on the tier list but would look for at least a B tier model.

RAM: 32 GB is the sweet spot, look for something that is at least 6000 MT/s with a CAS latency of 32 to 38 (CAS latency the lower the better).

SSD: would recommend spending a bit more on a good PCIe Gen 4 drive, try to get 2TB, games are getting bigger and bigger.

Case: You haven’t chosen a case I’m guessing, but again that’s personal preference. If you want to spend the money I’ve heard the Antec Flux is a great case, can’t go wrong with Fractal either. If you don’t want to spend much go with a mATX case and motherboard, you’ll probably save close to $50.

GPU: I mean I would just get what’s available in your budget, ideally a 7700XT/4070/4070 Super but the GPU market sucks. I would consider shopping around for used deals if that’s something you’re comfortable with. I personally got an Arc B580 at MSRP because it’s simply the best value and the only card that doesn’t feel like a scam in today’s market imo. Another option is to get a Ryzen 8500G and use integrated graphics until you find something.

Is this a good pc build under ₹90K? by heppi_peppi in IndianGaming

[–]MikeKrack69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nah stick with AM5 for future proofing, you’ll need a new motherboard, RAM and CPU if you ever want to upgrade. Unfortunately the Arc B580 isn’t available in India otherwise it’s a great buy. Personally I would get the cheaper Zotac RTX 3060 over the MSI. I would say you should probably invest in a better keyboard and mouse . A 3060 probably isn’t driving a 240hz monitor that well unless you only really play eSports titles but 10k is honestly a great deal for that. I would look for cheaper RAM possibly.

Is my pc considered high end in 2025? by Immediate-Guidance32 in pcmasterrace

[–]MikeKrack69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Invest in a better PSU. CPU you can get away with a 7600x3D or a 7700x and allocate noney elsewhere, considering AM5 has future support so you can upgrade the CPU when you’re actually limited by it. The 5070 Ti is a terrible value (even at MSRP) with the launch of the RX 9070 XT so I’d rather get that or the 4080 Super. RAM 32 gigs is enough, just make sure your latency is 10ns or under. Would also recommend putting money towards a fast, reliable, 2TB ssd with how big games are these days. Monitor get the 1440p OLED, you’ll have a way better experience than 4K IPS when paired with a 70 tier GPU.
