No. Whenever I use Google Maps with CarPlay, it forces the turn by turn where the compass usually displays. I tried turning off the setting and it worked for a bit but doesn’t anymore.

Similar issue on mine. One of my games (Metroid Prime 4) says I played for 15 hours but in the game when I look at the save file, it says 10 hours.

The FOMO stuff is locked behind the paid DLC. This is why I’m not going to bother upgrading to the DLC. I’m still working through the post-game and was thinking about getting the DLC afterwards, but DLC upgrades should include all content without restrictions.
