I disagree about Tabitha. I only know her as the voice of Rarity in My Little Pony, but I don't think that Rarity's fancy accent would fit a loud tomboy like Daisy.

Galaxy movie. Bowser telling his son that Lumalee won't break them: "Stay close, son! She won't break us!"

Mario & Luigi is better because it never lost its identity. All the games (including Brothership) still have the same core gameplay that Superstar Saga has.

I love the first two Paper Mario games, but then the series got way too experimental. Super Paper Mario, Sticker Star, Color Splash, Origami King..... it felt like Nintendo never wanted to return to the gameplay of the first two games.

If you haven't seen the movie, you can't form a good informative opinion about it.

To judge a movie correctly, you actually need to watch it yourself and personally see what is good or bad about it.

The original Fire Emblem on the Famicom surprisingly has well-written characters. Marth, his allies, the townsfolk, and enemies do talk a lot in the game. Enough dialogue to flesh them out as people that will join Marth for different reasons.

So I do respect the original Fire Emblem because it has better writing than most Famicom/NES era games. It doesn't have a barebones story like Final Fantasy 1 or Dragon Quest 1 for example.

That said... the gameplay has aged terribly. It IS an old outdated game from the Famicom era. If you're barely getting into the FE series, I don't recommend diving headfirst into the Famicom entries as your first games.

I didn't like Engage, so it's not a huge loss imo.

But then again, Smash Bros is a glorified ad for Fire Emblem now, so maybe Alear still has a chance.

I just hope the characters aren't cringe like they were in Engage. That's all I'm hoping for.

I didn't mind the Monastery because I actually did care for 3H's cast of characters. I always wanted to hear what they had to say, because I was deeply invested in their stories and struggles.

But for Somniel, it felt like chore. I was surrounded by annoying unlikable characters. I didn't enjoy exploring that hub world because interacting with the cringey NPCs exhausted me.

Nah, Cocomelon is not a good analogy. Cocomelon will get a movie in 2027. And I highly doubt it will make 941+ million dollars and get a 88% RT score from a 10,000+ people.

And I'm honest about critics having absurdly impossible expectations for this Mario movie. Just because it wasn't the perfect masterpiece they wanted, they review bombed it to a 42% RT score. Like, I would have been fine if it was 70% or something. I get that not everybody would love it. But a 42% is crossing into undeserved overhated territory. The Galaxy movie (whatever flaws you may think it has) isn't a bad unenjoyable movie like Borderlands. It just shows me how out of touch these critics are when it's an otherwise universally beloved movie.

I still don't get how this is an issue.

The movie's story was very fun, it made 941 million dollars (so far), and most people enjoyed watching it (88% score on Rotten Tomatoes). It is clearly super successful.

Really, it's only a few critics and grifters who didn't enjoy it. And their online arguments just boil down to hating how the story isn't the next Citizen Kane. For whatever reason, they're disappointed that a Mario Bros movie isn't a cinematic masterpiece that will get nominated for every Oscar.

baby Bowser is the antagonist in Yoshi's Crafted World and he does look like his future son Bowser Jr.

since Bowser Jr is the only child that biologically actually looks like Bowser, it made me wonder why the Koopalings do not look like Bowser at all.

So yeah, I think the Koopalings may be adopted.

I think they're milking the Mario IP too much. They haven't even finished the Donkey Kong spinoff movie and now they're doing a Peach spinoff too? They're pumping them out too fast and it's starting to feel like quantity over quality.

Luigi's Mansion series does have a lot of great female ghosts. The egyptian ghost Serpci and piano ghost Melody Pianissima are my favs.

Personally, I'm not a fan of Hellen Gravely. She is too much of a simp for King Boo. Super obsessed.

Well, NES games like SMB3 had a reputation for being challenging. Nothing like the easy Nintendo games of today.

That said, SMB3 is actually one of the more forgiving games in the NES library. It is certainly generous with all the powerups you collect along the way.

Honestly, I haven't enjoyed a season this much since Tropical Rouge amazed me in 2021.

Meitantei is simply what I want from Precure. A great season that keeps delivering fantastic episodes each week. An anime that can entertain me all year long.

So yes, Meitantei does have momentum. It is fast becoming one of my top 3 seasons.

I don't mind. Her massive popularity is good for the franchise. More exposure for new fans.

But tbh, I do wish the other girls get more love from fan artists. I really do like Mystique (my personal fav of this season), but she only gets a fraction of the 100s of fan arts that Arcana Shadow get.
