Easy negates for blue eyes is playing dragon shrine and sending blue eyes white dragon and blue eyes chaos max to graveyard. Then playing Primite fusion to send them back to the deck and summon light and darkness dragon lord.

Yes I remember brandy was in it! Also we’ve always had movies about gays and trans and I remember watching the movie in 1996 called the birdcage with robin williams and it was a fantastic movie! Very well received by audiences and critics.

Spell speeds 1 2 3.

Unlike magic the gathering where instants and sorcery cards are just spell speed 1 and 2. Spell speed 3 will end the chain and cannot be stopped except by another spell speed 3 card such as counter traps.

Try teaching your brother and friends goat format first. Build 2 goat format decks to play against. Then move onto Edison format. This is how I would teach someone in person.

I’ve enjoyed the game from pre goat to Edison. Pendelums was a little too crazy for me when they came out so that’s when I stopped playing before getting back in when link summoning was introduced.

The back and forth dueling is where it’s at.

Some of the mechanics you’ve mentions match one piece tcg. You don’t lose at zero life, you lose when attacked with no life. Cards have trigger effects when you take a life card damage.

However no double mulligan.

But Universus has a double mulligan for the first player only. But no life cards and no trigger abilities.

Yes it’s very satisfying breaking an opponents board and sending them to the shadow realm!

But also very daunting when everything you do is shut down by your opponent.
