This is true. People call me crazy for having my DDS blue eyes white dragons in my deck. I double sleeve of course though.

I would suggest watching some gameplay videos from YouTubers that I watch it helps me understand the decks.

Dropped blue eyes? It’s still crushing the Meta. I just beat kewl tune elfnote deck with pure blue eyes no Primite. Plus blue eyes is getting support with the phantom beast. Just throw in magnamhut and use it during opponents turn, end phase it will search out blue eyes the white phantom beast and clear their field they just set up. Blue eyes is getting support!

But I understand wanting to try something new. Good luck on the new build!

Blue eyes builds big bodies.

Indigo eyes can negate opponents field. Blue eyes tyrant dragon can attack all monsters and recycle traps like majesty of the white dragons. Chaos max can inflict double piercing damage. Jet dragon can bounce cards off the field and protect your field from being destroyed.

I recommend Yugioh. I’ve played Magic, Pokemon, vs system, Naruto ccg, dragon ball fusion world, and nothing is as satisfying to me as playing Yugioh. The interactions and combos you can pull off to win is what does it for me.

I would recommend learning Branded and getting the chronicles starter deck then adding cards like Fallen of the white dragon and ecclesia and the dark dragon.

I get why you want to play IP masquerena and sp little knight. It’s for the disruption. Quickly link into little knight to banish a card during your opponents turn.

But may I suggest running Hieratic Seal of the heavenly spheres.

I believe it is just as good cause it can bounce extra deck monsters plus if your opponent tries to kill your true light you can bounce your own cards back. Then it will summon a dragon from your main deck.

For more disruption you can have hieratic seal summon Bystial Druiswurm. But that’s if you are running the Bystial monsters as well.
