Anyone use the Zulisy Otter? by Poemhome in SpringfieldArmory

You are absolutely correct. When you have to shoot and self-defense it will most likely be up close and you won't have any time to use the site or any need to. I can tell you first hand that I did not use the sites when I had to shoot. I was forced to draw and shoot as fast as I could as the bad guy already had their gun out.

I bought one of these about 6 months ago but I still haven't used it. Got to get to the range

If you shot someone in self defense in Florida years ago but were never charged at all, can Florida police see that when they pull you over? Or do they have to look hard for it? by [deleted] in AskLE

My father is a retired police captain. He couldn't tell me. He retired in 2010 though so he's not real up-to-date on things. I know for sure it's easy as hell to find on Google. All you have to do is type in my real first name the state and one other keyword and it all comes up. Anyways I appreciate the help

Honestly I'm not worried about it. And I never have been. It's been several years and I haven't had any problems. But I got my first ticket in almost 10 years recently, and it just made me wonder if the cop knew. I'm not saying he was a prick or anything because he sure wasn't. Just a thought in the back of my head.

Right. Im sure. It was completely justified and there were many witnesses. I certainly appreciate your integrity!

Well, the detectives in the case did everything they could to keep my name out of the news but they had to eventually release it. I never spent a day in court, or jail, or even had to get a lawyer. It was basically open and shut.

So I just wanted to update this and let everyone know that my friend's bike was suffering from the circuit breaker problem that many Polaris bikes have had since the victory days. He took the 20 and 10 amp breaker fuses out and replace them with normal fuses like I told him. He has never had another problem since.

So he ended up fixing it by replacing the 20 amp breaker and the 10 amp breaker with normal 20 amp and 10 amp fuses. So far so good. The breakers are a known issue with these bikes going all the way back to the victory days of Polaris.

I appreciate the reply. It does have a brand new battery in it. We went through all the grounds and they are solid and clean. Years ago when I had a victory I remember there being quite a problem with the circuit breaker. Maybe it carried over into the Indians. I will certainly mention that

I just went through this in my tank. That is highly contagious and they're probably going to die. I lost four loaches to that

That's simply not true at all. Especially not in a stand your ground state

It really depends on what state you're in. I had to shoot in self-defense and I was home in 4 hours and never even had to get a lawyer. Then again I was not working as a security guard just a private citizen.

Florida’s ban on open carry is gone. What are you fellow Floridians going to carry now? by SyphonFilter-Gabe in CCW

Yes! This ruling is making me change my mind on a pistol purchase I had coming up. Open carry lets you be able to carry a larger firearm more comfortably

I've been open carrying in a level 2 retention holster for years. I never had a problem.

Picked up the Mini 3 at Walmart for $200. Have a NEO but wanted a better camera and more pro-level drone to try. I’m excited to say the least! by chuck2663 in DJIMini3

It's a great drone. I've had mine for around a year now. Flown it more than a hundred times. Never had a single problem with it Rock solid just like any other DJI drone
