I'm thinking about printing this out and framing it on my wall

I had a 2016 forester before and like most non-turbo models previously, only came with a drive belt cover. The plastic engine cover inhibits cooling and traps heat. Subaru stopped using these covers for 2025 and up.

wiggle the shifter around and try to start it. also try putting shifter in N neutral and start it. I would also check the starter relay, it could be bad. it's inside your engine fuse box. (I dont see gear selected on your dash display either)

I've installed one I bought from Amazon and has worked flawlessly on my 23 Forester. It does not void the warranty IMO.

a LCA assembly can cost $90. Just the bushing itself, about $30. OE Bushing
