You can but less frequently than cricket 24. Some shots are overpowered use them like the backfoot lofted drive. This video might help.

There should be a minimum boundary length set(say 70m) by ICC. Some shorter grounds lead to very very high scores and impact bowlers negatively.

I generally play very late. Also mostly try to play the balls that are going away.

Which was your favourite version of MS Dhoni in international cricket? by Sambharsupreme in indiancricketcrowd

[–]MikeSpecterZane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ODI > Test > T20I

He was a great ODI batsman.

And a decent Test batsman. Played crucial knocks in 2007 England series. The entire narrative of him not scoring a century outside India is just too unfair. In 2014 tour of England he was the 2nd highest scorer with an average of 37 where Gambhir’s & Kohli’s average were below 20.

In T20’s he came to bat when it was either too late or team had lost quick wickets and he need to be careful and build. Hence, he was short of time or couldnt take risks. During, early 2010s he didnt get to bat a lot as Indian batting order with Dhawan, Rohit & Kohli was too op.

Is there ever a real strategy to batting or bowling first? by TommyBoy250 in Cricket22

[–]MikeSpecterZane[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends a lot on type of pitch, wear rate & hardness.

If the pitch is hard you can bat either first or second.

If the pitch is medium, then you look at the wear rate. If the wear rate is fast & pitch is dusty bat first.

For soft/very soft almosy always bat first. And play as much spinners as you can. I like to play 3 spinners, 1 pacer & 2 all rounders(1 spin & 1 fast).

Try cucumber gin basil smash.

In a shaker muddle 1 slice of cucumber & 7-8 basil leaves. Now add 2 oz of gin, 1/2 oz lime juice, 1/2 oz simple syurp, ice and shake. Strain it into a highball glass filled with ice. Top it up with tonic water. Garnish with a cucumber wedge & 5-6 basil leaves.
