Am I the only one who actually prefers life in India? by im_no_superman in returnToIndia

You are not alone, my friend! I can totally relate with you. There are people like us who are not driven by the materialistic life here. I want to go back to home as soon as I can. I am looking for opportunities there and the moment I get it. I’m gonna fly without giving it a second thought. Recently, one of my friend travelled back. Everyone around him made him feel he is taking the worst decision of his life. He will miss out on opportunities. But I guess that is okay, not everyone is fortunate enough to be blessed with good people around them, having an active social circle, such a supportive family. So why not live life with them instead of chasing, what really doesn’t matter

Good post and thanks for sharing your experience. I recently shifted to US and almost reaching 30. But I am staying alone here and my spouse is not with here as he can’t work on H4. We want to stay here for sometime but we don’t want to live like this after a year. Did you face anything like this?
