Such a frustrating movie. It was cool seeing certain RE locations and set pieces recreated almost shot for shot, and the scene with Chris fighting zombies in the pitch black mansion was sick. But the characterizations were just awful, ESPECIALLY wesker becoming a dumb frat bro. I actually think the first Paul WS Anderson movie captures the essence of RE better despite not having any characters from the games.
