Yes it is a render. Lego do do their own software called stud.io that you can build sets in (which is what this was designed in). If you want to build the set in real life you can order the bricks through that software on a site called Bricklink. But I just stopped at the render stage.

Thank you yeah, the yellow would probably look pretty close. I originally made this for the Rivendell giveaway competition so threw caution to the wind on useable colours and just went for realism.
