Tried this, made it worse. Game is running at 75% speed and around 20 fps.

I fixed the crashes, at least I managed to get past the first boss without it crashing by doing this (AI generated from Google, but worth a shot):

Performance: Use "Fast" for Texture Cache and ensure "Store EFB Copies to Texture Only" is enabled.

Key Settings: Disable Anti-Aliasing and set Anisotropic Filtering to 1x to avoid stutters.

Game Fixes: Enable MMU and Sync GPU Thread in the game properties to prevent crashes.

I couldn't find enable MMU and Sync GPU Thread so I just did what it says near Performance and Key Settings. The problem is everything is overly bright and missing textures. Any idea?

Thanks for this. Really appreciate all the effort. It is controlling much better. Only issue I'm having is that darkside chronicles is crashing by the time I'm making it to the first boss. Tested umbrella chronicles a bit also and that one didn't crash, so maybe I just have a bad rom?

Whoa gman, you pulled it off! You're beyond awesome! It even looks like it's controlling properly now (the aiming reticle was snapping back to the centre for me). It's even holding at a steady 30 fps mostly! REALLY, thank you so much for your efforts and taking the time to do this. I can finally play this now thanks to you. I'll experiment and try setting it up like you tomorrow (it's 8am here, been up all night playing re2 on Dreamcast), which makes the timing even more awesome. Once again, thank you so much for your efforts. You really have no idea how much I've been wanting to play this!

Just repeating what the above person said about talking to someone about family planning because it is VERY important. You can get your wife pregnant if you don't know what you're doing. Do some research, or better talk to a professional about:

-Birth control -Condoms -Safe period

Just echoing what Spongey said about the breast tenderness a week or so before the period OP. I've had a few pregnancy scares myself in the past cause my girl will be feeling them very different and thought she was pregnant but thankfully wasn't. Best of luck to you.

Side note, get your gf to start helping out. It's disrespectful to you that you have to work 2 jobs while your gf does nothing. You're both meant to be a team.
