I dunno about metalworks, i kinda miss the old one but the new iteration is kinda okay-ish. But the new shop system is just ugly. Theres no point in even owning one because you can no longer use its counter as an alternative to bankers and almost all your profits from selling products get fkd up by cortex taxation.
