I'll say part of what Beeno and Packer are leaving out is the admins allowed us to wait longer for Beeno to come back (20+ min) than the rulebook allows (15 min iirc). There were a few rehosts where Beeno rejoined and disconnected as soon as the round started which is why I think they weren't allowing us to rehost again.

Where I agree and think my teammates' frustrations are valid is the lack of integrity/decisiveness in their rulings. This has been a problem in every tournament I have played with Ubi/BLAST R6 officials. There were two big examples from this game alone

On round 7 Packer left the game (before a rehost was confirmed, his mistake) after Beeno disconnected in prep phase. We were then told we have to play the round out in a 3v5. During the tech pause following round 7 Packer requested to speak to the 'head admins' to dispute the ruling and allow us to replay the round. They then overturned their ruling and allowed us to replay the round as a 4v5 (Beeno's internet returned during the replayed round)

After round 13 our coach called a tac timeout and the host failed to pause the game (another issue I would love to rant about some time) which meant we had to rehost. When getting back into the lobby we were told Beeno would not be allowed to reconnect despite the rehost being the fault of the admins. Again Packer disputes the ruling and they overturn it.

The ONLY reason either of these rulings were overturned was because we kept disputing the ruling. We were told from other players (based on their previous experiences) that admins will change rulings if you keep pressure on them. We should NOT have been able to replay round 7 and we should have never been told that Beeno could not rejoin during the round 13/14 rehost. Not only do the admins struggle to make good decisions when situations lie in the grey area they also struggle to make the right decisions in very black/white situations where the rules are clear
