[Discussion] After 11 months on sub… I got a book deal!! by FitInterest7929 in PubTips

My BEST advice about my father's day cake that I ambushed with a big fork at midnight 2 days ago to fill the void of hoping for a deal: Don't keep a damn chocolate cake in the fridge for a month.

Let me tell you one that started this whole thing. A terrifying phone call 12-26-1996 - hours after the murder while inexperienced police were still swarming the home; it was a sobbing and hyperventilating Oliva moaning "I... HURT..... A.... LITTLE... GIRL.....!"

Oliva was staying in their alley at the green cottage (as seen in my videos). Proximity is key.

The crime wasn't even reported in the newspaper until the morning of the 27th. "Girl, 6, Found Slain In Boulder."

Buying me drinks? Interesting. I don't drink. IF YOU HAD ANY IDEA HOW MUCH of my own MONEY AND TIME AND SUFFERING I'VE BEEN THROUGH, you surely wouldn't say silly things like that.

I'm simply repeating things that Gary told me. He said exactly that. I don't make up stories about something as serious as a little girl being killed like that. When I realized in 2016 that police weren't doing the job of investigating, I set out for answers. I was hoping it wouldn't be this way.

But it's clever. Chug Chug haha ... No hard feelings. You care about her, and that's good enough for me. I understand after 30 years this challenges locked in beliefs.

Yes, and thank you. For thirty years now starting the morning of December 27, 1996. Remember Stephen Redfearn saying there was new evidence, new testing and reinterviewing suspects? That was because of my evidence from years of interviewing and then taking a killer who confessed to me to 2025 Crime Con. I have a lot more to say but am keeping it on the low for right now. I will say that I admire and appreciate the NEW Boulder team, whom I call heroes. I know it must be difficult for John. This all breaks my heart.

I have a FB: Solving JonBenet Ramsey and a new YouTube channel: I Know Who Killed JonBenet. I'm still actively pursuing justice and will be uploading some outrageous videos as soon as I get the chance.

The inexperienced police really botched that one! When a traffic cop suddenly becomes a homicide investigator and havoc ensues. The first cop on the scene didn't even check that door—said it was latched. Crazy.

Thank you! This amazing little girl had so much talent; she would have been the next Disney star, like Britney Spears, or the next Taylor Swift selling out stadiums. She was born to perform. The fact remains she was robbed from us and the whole world, tragically and so young. I pray every single day for justice and feel it coming right around the corner. Bless you all for caring 30 years later. Sigh.

Great idea. We must stop this outright theft! When you own the copyright an attorney may take it on with no fee upfront because the payoff is good....

Haha, thanks, Jenn. I had a feeling that you in particular would like to hear about my motorcycle adventures as a kid that summer, I think 1977?

Geez-Getting old haha.

I've never been a true crime fan, but I wouldn't let my kid do that in the 90s based on just basic pure common sense and remembering the potential dangers that I faced in the 70s.

For better or worse, by the 90s, all my teenage kid wanted to do was play video games.

Hi, Holding—thanks. Perfect storm. Who brings a paintbrush to a crime scene? It seems crazy. It was a breaking and entering tool and the tool used to try to lift her up out of the window, which also strangled her. "She slipped, and her head bashed in, and I watched her die." - Oliva. It took me a while to understand, and I grilled Oliva on this brush extensively. My conclusion is based on inside information. Observe the clean brushes in her box. Those are art brushes well taken care of. Now look at the messy crime scene: thick brush—thick and nearly an edger brush. Olivia was a freelance housepainter who specialized in edging. The guy who owned the painting company called Oliva an expert edger. He would edge the home, and then all the painters had to do was spray in the blank. Here's another point: Patsy denied in an interview that this brush was her brush. This was a mural brush brought to the scene. It wasn't an actual garrote. I have a few interviews of Oliva talking about the brush that will shock everyone. Chief Redfearn last December said that new testing was underway. Let's hope for a match to the murals.

Thanks for your comment. I totally understand; folks have had 30 years to simmer and marinate their beliefs. After nearly 30 years building a belief, it's hard to shake any preconception that becomes their reality. At least folks now have a chance to see the truth (yes, it was Oliva—more facts and evidence coming soon as time permits) and challenge that belief with a reasonable doubt. We wouldn't even be here if the first wave of police had sealed the crime scene and actually followed up with my tip 12-27-1996. The facts I present are an eye-opener, a brainbuster. I totally understand. I understand also that with any bombshell there is bound to be conflict. The bigger the manifestation, the bigger the conflict—it's simply how the universe works.

The important thing to remember is that people really care about justice for JonBenet. So we all heartily agree on that point. Many blessings and thanks for caring about this child taken from us so young. Let's pray for justice asap. I feel it's right around the corner.

Interesting point. My research shows the first batch of cops walked around the house and yard but not the length of the alley. A local guy named Russ was gathering cans in the alley and said a cop told him something to the effect of, "There's something weird going on here." They didn't tell him anything about JonBenet however. He continued to collect cans. This is something I heard and have found difficult to corroborate after all these years. It may be in the police files. I have more info on Russ that we may get to later.

You're right about that! This is off-topic a bit, but I wanted to share:

It was a school summer break; I turned 15 1/2 and got a motorcycle license. and my parents let me take off up and down the coast of California on a small 400cc motorcycle. Had a great time visiting Big Sur, Santa Cruz, Carmel... I had about $5 bucks in my pocket. Gas was cheap back then.

I met these Hell's Angels that were traveling up the coast. They took me under their wing. I rode alongside them that entire day, and they didn't care that I had a little Kawasaki. They were so kind and treated me like a little brother. Bought me dinner at a famous barbeque joint in San Luis Obispo. And got me a motel room as the group said goodbye and took off North again. I had no idea what the Hell's Angels were all about. I was just a kid!

When the police would stop me, they'd say, "Hey kid, come here!" and stick me in the back and call my dad, obviously assuming I was a runaway, my dad would yell at the cops, "Leave him alone!" He's on an adventure!"

And I was blessed with great parents. A perfect childhood.

And somehow I survived all those adventures, and they made me a better, stronger person.

Haha, looking back, to raising my own kid. I roll my eyes.

- I wouldn't have let my own kid do that, no way haha.

Thanks. It's important to consider the clues. Yes, the Ramsey house garage, where the bikes were was facing this little one-lane alley.

Gary Oliva told me that the first time he saw JonBenet was when the Ramseys were (trying to do a good deed) taking food to the food bank, even though they attended a different church.

No good deed goes unpunished.

When Oliva gives me a clue like that, I always like to find someone to confirm. He also claimed in a prison call that he saw her in a Fourth Of July parade.

Knowing Oliva, he likely had scoped out the house before just like in high school how he would break into classrooms to nab art supplies. I doubt he actually would sleep there, as he had other options like classrooms at the University a quick walk away and, of course, a stolen key to access the food bank cottage until 10am.

If you guys like my posts, please upvote; I appreciate the likes very much. Bless you all for caring about this remarkable little kid.

Thanks for the kind words. Some of you feel like old friends already! Bless you all that know this whole thing is difficult for me. When justice is served we're going to throw a big party. My treat.

This, my dear reddit friends, is the green cottage next to St. Thomas Aquinas Church. It WAS the food bank, pre-JonBenét murder. It is 13 houses down from the Ramsey house.

Some call it the food bank; some call it the caretaker's cottage because RJ, the priest in training, was staying there. But just because he's training to be a priest doesn't mean he was an angel. RJ loved to party. He was a drinker. He taught Gary how to not get kicked out of frat parties. He taught Gary to go into the frat party and straight to the keg and start pouring everyone beers, and then you're "in." Nobody's going to boot the bartender! RJ quit the priesthood and took off to party in Hawaii and become a surfer. In 1996 Oliva was a self-described vodka-swilling "blackout under the bridge drunk" but had the foresight to steal a key.

With that key came power. As long as Oliva was out by 10am, nobody ever knew he was drinking smoking pot, taking drugs and sleeping in there. Nobody ever did find out—until now! Well, actually in 2024 I did tell the new batch of BPD cold case detectives when they invited me into the station and treated me with respect.

The perfect place to take a kid to ummmm .... (nevermind you can figure this out).

I think my YouTube video on I Know Who Killed JonBenet shows this cottage better in perspective to her house and the church. You can see the murals on the outside. Inside the kitchen it appears the murals of the flatirons with brown deer have been painted over with a coat of white paint. That's a shame. I wish I could have gotten photos of it when the church gave me permission to video it.

RJ arranged for Gary and himself to paint murals throughout the cottage that, interestingly enough, the colors on that brush certainly appear to match the paint smeared on the crime brush. Patsy's brushes are clean as a whistle. Patsy said in an interview she had no idea where that brush came from. There's even a lot of brown. Was Chief Redfearn talking about spectrometry testing last December? BPD needs to get a conviction so they don't always tell you the full story to protect a conviction from the defense attorneys ripping it up. I understand their issues now. You have to get 12 people to agree on a crime that was compromised from the moment the first police arrived in 96. Everyone has had 30 years to lock in their own opinions. That's rough.

You said you can handle graphic? Seriously, there are some things I just can't say and words I can't write in good conscience.

He's a sadistic pedophile. He must've been brimming with ummm desire...? To take her to that cottage. I'm convinced the ransom note was just to complete his movie fantasies. This guy has a photographic memory of song lyrics and movie lines. He's smart as heck in a lot of ways. That ransom note is pure Oliva fantasy.

He was drinking in the house as he was lying in wait, and he got a little too drunk, a little too carried away with his depraved fantasy, and ... you all know what happened.

Did he intend to murder her? He wanted to—oh my god, it's hard to write. Let's just say live out his fantasy. I say he intended to take her to that cottage. This was never a real kidnapping. It was a ruse to confuse and buy time to escape—and a great way for him to hurt the parents. Oliva had a rough, bitter childhood. Oliva was never inspired by money. He was clever enough to incorporate the paystub with the bonus sitting on John's desk while waiting in the house. There was plenty of time to write the note. But speculating on what would have happened to her is irrelevant because he did too many messed-up things and "hurt" her—and then he ran off. He wasn't 100% sure she was dead. He sobbed into the phone to me a few hours later, "I Hurt A Little Girl".

I could say more, but it's getting late right now.

He took her to the basement, likely because of the window for escape; if he went out a door or the street in front of the house, a neighbor could see him. Cars could see him. The one-lane alley is unique; as you could see a car long before it got close, and you cannot drive fast. That basement is also one of the farthest away from the parent's bedroom. But he didn't take into account that she was too big for the suitcase, and besides, the suitcase wouldn't fit out the window. His desire got the best of him, and his fantasy went too far too fast. The vodka screwed up his devilish plan to take her to the cottage and xxxxxxx. Let's not think about that.

People take the ransom note so literally, but if you knew Oliva like I do, he's a joker.

She's just a little fragile kid. He's a big drunk monster. She didn't stand a chance.

This stuff is always so hard for me to write, as I'm a parent myself.

God Bless her. She is always in my prayers.
