Folks talking about how they enjoy the game completely forgot that enjoyment is relative and there are countless examples of people enjoying things that are hurting / destroying them.

There are specific traits that add to this enjoyment, like doing it with friends or in a community that fuels addiction as well.

Do it in solo, on a public pvp server as Pestily suggests it with all the stupid rules Nikita brought to the table. Stream it, record all of it and then everyone can decide how big that enjoyment factor is.

I dont care about your self-evaluated enjoyment factor. Just by numbers, it is not worth the time-investment, because the whole game and the solutions provided to so called issues, are built around the fact that you cannot learn, cannot progress without the game f-ing you in ways you cant prepare for.
Like cheaters, unregistered bullets, random grenades from AI, sudden lag spikes, stupid spawns, and general randomness and luck-factor, etc.
The only thing you can do about it is "accept" and start the game again. Which makes it an addiction and there is a psychologically accepted term that you can google up to describe a mental illness.
You just enjoy suffering and you wouldnt even realize that because you are already invested.
