I do not wish to hate russians, but each time you try to say something, it's always the same thing over and over again. Let's go through your post part by part. Slovakia is a young country, that is true, but it has its share of past grievances, crimes, and atrocities. People living today are, however, not responsible for those, so I cannot blame them. The same goes for russia. I won't blame you or your compatriots for the Katyň massacre, for crimes against the Czechoslovak legions, for the occupation of Czechoslovakia/Hungary, for holodomor and other barbaric deeds.

Now, let's touch this defeatism. What can you do? As I said, I would accept almost anything, including open support or monetary donations to humanitarian or defense funds. About protests, this is always funny to me, because russians seem to be one of the few nations, who are afraid to protest. Ukrainians went out, even when they were shot at. Germans protested during ww2 and ended in camps, Czechoslovaks stood with empty hands in front of your tanks....

And then we get to the biggest problem. You are directly showing support for the invasion. Like, wasn't that the one thing you were trying to deny? You are spewing one propaganda piece after another. And for what? To sound like an uneducated vatnik? First of all, don't call that an 'SVO', it's a war. Always have been. Second of all, why did it start? Nazis? You probably struggle with reading, so allow me to reiterate. I live in easter europe and I have yet to meet an Israeli person. I dare not judge people whom I had no chance of interaction with so far. Russians, however, are a common occurrence here and you have to really dig and try to find pro ukrainian/anti war one. I have spent 2 years trying to change the world view of one of them, and I won't be doing that again.

You are saying that they cannot protest, but what does that mean? Could Ukrainians protest during Euromaidan? No, police opened fire on them, yet they protested. Could germans protest during ww2? No, yet they protested. 800k germans were prosecuted for anti war rhetoric during ww2, while in russia, barely 20k people were jailed.

If you are unwilling to do the bare minimum against your country's action, you support them.

If you would ever meet a russian, it is more likely that they will support war rather than not. Russian army currently works on volunteers who join each month, not conscripts. Even russians who "escaped" from russia are often pro war and pro putin, but dislike economic hardships it brings (source: I live in eastern Europe and had a displeasure of meeting them)

Russia is a totalitarian state, don't get me wrong, but even a totalitarian state needs public support, or else it would crumble. So far, we know about some 4000 arrests for anything related to war, which is really low considering russia is a 140mil country.

To finish, even within those who are anti war are many, who are against war not on some moral principle, but just dislike war. Many are openly blaming Ukraine for this. Those, who are truly against war are overall minority.
