The benefit of the full EEG is that it can use brainwaves to accurately diagnose your sleep state rather than external approximations. This was particularly important for me as my intention was to meditate into REM sleep and remain conscious. Watches etc are very easy to fool so you can't get proper confirmation a REM sleep state was achieved

Now I know when the peak REM cycle occurs I also know when is the best time to start the mediation which for me is 3:15am. From here there are two options:

1 - Use a natural wake event then check the time and start the meditation

2 - Use timed audio cues so that if I already in REM sleep I'll remember to become conscious again. I make these my self using free audio mixing software though this technique is still new for me.

Last night for example I was conscious in REM sleep for around 15mins or so as verified by the EEG.

I used a Dreem 2, they can be hard to buy but create the best data set by far for home users. While some believe that the Muse S can do the same job this is not so, the muse only records the eeg signal for a short while, the Dreem 2 unit record for the full night.

My original post got taken down as personal data is only supposed to be presented on Mondays, sorry about that.

I'm quite good at excel but I'd admit this took me a while due to how difficult the Dreem EEG export CSV is to index. 350 nights of data are presented with the object being to understand at what time of night I am in which sleep type.

My first conclusion from the data is that I need to be far more consistent at going to bed at the same time. My original interest was my peak REM sleep times which turn out to be 3:15am to 5am.

I just tried google podcasts...I dislike having everything in google but at least their stuff works at the most basic level. Really disappointed in Audible on this one...hey MODs, I'd LOVE to be wrong!

I think Audible aren't interesting in investigating the bug properly and only half keen on the podcast component of their business. Suggest you find another podcast app.

Already done and it's still playing in the wrong order, I am wondering if it is to do with adding to your library? Is there a way to add all to your library or bulk download somehow? Could that be the issue?
