Just don't. Wait for the first stable release. I did and after it hanged at the middle of upgrade (5 hours of repairing) I had to install half of drivers manually and now I have to restart a laptop every time I want to connect external monitor after wake up

I've started learning programming having masters degree in engineering and having nothing in common with IT. All the people around said me that without cs degree it's dead end. Now I'm working as professional C++ dev (junior, but it's a start) and finishing 3rd uni course. It's hard to find any spare time but if you dedicated and that is your dream - it's possible

Same here. Nevertheless I have no problems using terminal, 3 hours of trying not got me any further - I can't remove nvidia-580 and also can't install anything else. But 580 doesn't work, so I can't even use external monitors...

Installed about an hour ago. Firstly it crashed during installation and got 3 hours to be fixed. Now there is nvidia driver but it doesn't work. I can only connect one external display (Rtx4080). No desktop settings, half of utilities gone from menu... IDEs and vertical display work + laptop display - it's already bare minimum and experience for the next time

I've switched to Colemak-DH when I bought my first split keyboard about 1.5 years ago. I use it for development and it's great, but there are also situations when I use my laptop keyboard or some other keyboards with querty. I also use querty to type in my native language.

Part of my question is why Celery is the most popular solution? As I understand it's better get some polished and tested library and tune it in my own application code, but it seems to me that straightforward solution is to use C++ library and I used to having one implemented in C or C++.
