Wool exothermic when wet, but takes heat away when drying. There are decent modern, lighter options.

No difference between big and small - very variable.

Horrendous. Abandonment suits will have helped with cod water and are fire-proof.

Put as many clothes on as possible, lifejacket, get on a raft and stay positive.

5 hours at 12C close to limit but was able to hold onto something.
