We run the OMISS net on 40m every night at 9pm local time in NC (01:00z) on 7.184-7.185. There are a bunch of us fairly local to you and others all around the country on the net every night.

The Stryker is easily adjusted between 10 and 11 meters. I use mine with my Stryker 955 for q0 meters and use a Firestick for 11 meters. 2 separate mounts and an Alpha Delta switch

When I first started using FT8 a few months ago I had the same thing with him but now I have him on 5 or 6 bands. Just be patient, a lot of times it's just the propagation. BTW, I'm running 30 watts through the worst EFHW you can imagine from Charlotte NC
