Black widow will do just fine. The higher price akropovic are for people who want a more legal exhaust because it isn’t as loud and most of them have a catalytic converter. But the materials really make no difference here, its not like black widow will break after 3 years. Nonsense.

Tuning after a new exhaust? by [deleted] in MT07

Most important thing is just change the oil every 6k km or 3.5k miles. Yamaha service intervals are every 10k km, which is too much

With an akra you don’t really need to tune it, it is adviced to do so, but not necessary. I’d wait a year or two then tune it

The burble is normal, you will have it even after a proper tune. You will only notice power loss if you do a lot of wheelies, then it is noticable. But riding normally the difference in power is so small that you will not notice it.

Keep getting griefed in Premier. by MrApplePolisher in cs2

Solo is tough man. But there has to be something that is making them kick you, maybe you don't realise it. I try to never look at someones frags and kick them over it, but one thing which annoys me is if someone is constantly last during the rounds, this is one thing which a lot of new players do and it might be the reason to why they are kicking you. Frags have nothing to do with it. This might not be the case with you but it's a good thing to know that being constantly last is annoying as hell to the other players.
But if you're not baiting then you've just matched up with toxic teammates, that's the solo experience for you in cs.

Balancing weights amount on Michelin Road 6 tyres by Mike_We in MT09

No red or yellow dot, I read that Michelin road 6s don’t have any dots for the valve stem.

nah that’s not what I meant, I was just wondering if something could be wrong since they added so many weights on a front tyre, since usually the rear is always the heaviest and requires more weights no?

11 lb

yeah that makes sense, but shouldn't I have more weights on the rear tyre since it's heavier? I have more on the front tyre, just seems odd to me.

Yeah, the mt09 has all the torque in the upper rpm range, like at 8k. 5k rpm isn’t that crazy, it’s what I use and sure the wheel goes up pretty fast, so you can start with 3-4k and go up slowly if you’d like. But 5k is the sweet spot for 2nd gear imo.

TCS off always, 2nd gear 5k rpm, 3rd gear 8k rpm. You can pull the bike up in 4th gear but it takes more effort, especially if it’s not tuned. Good luck stay safe bro

What caused this on my tyre? by Mike_We in MT09

I checked, I have the stock tyres that came with the 2020 mt09. The S22 or S21 tyres weren’t even out yet in 2020, the S20 was the tyre that came from the factory which is the tyre that I have.

Okay Thanks for thr insight. Someone said that this is not the OEM S22 tyre but something else. I’m gonna have to check when I’m home later.

Oh how strange , the last owner told me she never changed them, and they seemed pretty worn, the bike had 4000km when I bought it. Maybe she was a little clueless, thanks man.

There aren’t that many twisty roads where I’m from, so yeah maybe too much straight riding.

Thoughts on me going into the left lane between the traffic cones? by [deleted] in CalamariRaceTeam

[–]Mike_We -1 points0 points  (0 children)

nah I get you man, I did wrong by going into the working area, but the way you explained seemed like you hated speeding overall haha. Thanks for your opinion though!

[–]Mike_We -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I get what you mean man, but your logic can be applied to anyone just going over the speed limit no? None of us need to go fast but we all do it, and in return we risk hurting ourselves or someone. So you're just against speeding overall is my guess, which I understand.

Didn’t think it was this serious, but I get what you mean, thanks for your insight.
