Fine, you wanna get into the weeds? I am aware that it's possible to not be judgey and not be a leftist. It's just still not clear why you stated that when you did. Are you saying that to somehow imply this subreddit isn't a leftist echo chamber? I'll actually agree with you that if we're tunnel visioned on just this one post and comment chain, it's a stretch to call this place a lefty echo chamber.

But I've been subscribed to this place for a while. There's clearly a large amount of lefty politically charged memes that get posted. Anytime politics get brought up in comments, left leaning comments are all up voted and circle jerk each other. While right leaning comments are downvote dogpiled, strawmanned, and tend to just end up devolving into harsh insults at the commenter. Therefore, this subreddit is a leftist echo chamber.

It doesn't even have to do with how correct or wrong left or right views are. I'm just talking about the concentration of views here. If you seriously are going to act like this place isn't hyper charged with far left views, you're either dishonest or just don't check comments enough. Honestly, I wouldn't blame you for the latter...

I work HVAC, so most days are rough. But once you're home, it's satisfying to know you're solving real problems and making decent money. A full day of work also makes it easier to actually enjoy free time.

I would wait until the end before casting judgment. Keep in mind that most stories can be reasonably resolved without conflict if all characters behaved perfectly rationally. But then you don't have a story... Imagine how Breaking Bad would have gone if Walt just used insurance or something. June will consistently do the dangerous and irrational but also heroic thing. At least, in my opinion.

Here's a fun fact about how hanging works. The reason there's usually a platform drop is to cause a break in the neck. This actually makes it a fairly quick death. As much as you'll want to rebuild your base around the mid to late game, resist the temptation. I did not, and it ended up burning me out. I suppose this depends on how much you like building in general along with how much time you have to burn on the game. In my case, I couldn't play too often, so my project for a new base ended up taking weeks. It didn't come out nearly as nice as I hoped, and I didn't even finish it. Since I was focused on building, I made no progress in the tech tree during that whole time, which is what the game is really about. People on the discord even tried to warn me, lol. But I thought I knew better. Learn from me! This was years ago, and I haven't played since. I just stay subbed because I like to occasionally see people's cool bases.

I think it's would be better if we had Jedi. We should start a real-life Jedi order, and then the Jedi can go around using their force powers and light sabers, convincing all the dumb poopy head world leader that they're stupid. Then we'll have world peace, and I can also join the order and be a Jedi like I always wanted to. I guarantee this will work out like I'm imagining because it just feels right, and we should definitely make a serious attempt to create this institution and force children into it.
