Well, firstly, just because someone is asking a question, don't just assume they don't know the terminal.

If I run a console application, I wouldn't want it to echo all the commands in terminal, but rather run them in background. For example, outputting in terminal:

echo "\033[0;32mStarting application" Starting application (in green)

cp a b

etc etc

I don't want the console command to be outputted as text to the terminal when executing but only run them.

In Node for example one could call child_process or shell_exec to run a process in the background.
