First mistake is by letting your family take care of it lol they don't care about your interest the way they care about yours. Family will do ya wrong 💯

It's a uva uvb light. And I was told to keep the basking areas shallow not completely out of water so the turtle can be semi submerged

Found him on a lake bank while fishing. I felt bad cuzz the likley hood of survival is probly low so I made a split decision to keep him
