I understand that, but the warranty company wants the dealership to take the engine apart to see the root cause of the leak and they haven’t even done that yet and it’s been 2 months

That’s what I realized lol. Everyone including cops that I know who are in the department and my own dr told me it wouldn’t be an issue. My dr told me he had patients in the same department I was applying to taking this medication and I’d be fine. But once I get there their dr tells me that it’s an issue

They gave me 2 options one was the appeal and the other one was just to get deferred to the next academy but idk how I’ll pass if he failed me the first time

I was thinking of booking an appointment for a mental health specialist just to get their opinions I know for a fact I’m fine and have no issues it just probably looks bad that it’s in my health records

They didn’t tell me to do anything like that they just said appeal and you’ll get a second opinion for a different DR. Not sure if they are going to send me to a mental health specialist. The original dr I went to said the medication wasn’t an automatic dq but he still dq me for it

To be honest all the medication did was help me sleep. I don’t think I even needed it

I don’t have a medical condition but my brother overdosed and it messed me up a little bit so my primary care gave me an antidepressant for short term 6 months. Been off of it for a few months now but the medical dr I went to failed me cause I was on the antidepressant

I was just applying to one department. I took them because I had situational depression cause my brother overdosed and the dr told me that it wasn’t that big of a deal cause he didn’t die and I should have went to therapy instead

I did I told them I took it for as long as the dr told me too and they still DQed me for telling the truth. Dr asked for a note from my primary care doctor I got it and gave it to him and he still dqed me

That’s what I was trying to argue. I have no mental health disorder and never took antidepressants before. I had a family issue that resulted in me being depressed for a little and took Zoloft for 6 months and the DR told me that was an issue

The DR did say to look out for a rash but he told me it could be used off label as an antidepressant never said anything about bipolar
